🧼 From Drab to Fab... and probably back to mud in 5 minutes! 🧼

Talk about a fun house! My next appointment yesterday was this gorgeous trio of gigantic, fluffy girls. 💖

We did a major blowout and gave them all a really good, deep scrub down to get them looking like the absolute queens they are.

They were so good for their spa time, but let’s be honest—that spark in their eyes? That is the look of three girls who cannot wait to get home, find the biggest patch of dirt in the yard, and do a victory roll. 🦖

Hey, at least they’ll smell amazing while they do it! Thanks for bringing your beautiful girls to see me!

Morning views with Calvin! 🩵

The sweetest start to the day yesterday! Calvin (one of our beloved PupStop alumni) stopped by for a fresh trim and a spa session.
He might give the bath a 2/5 star review, but he gives the post-bath ear scratches a 10/10! 😂 He was such a good boy for the rest of his groom.

How handsome does he look standing tall on the table? Such a sweet, gentle soul. 🐾

🩵 One Year of Dreams, Dogs, and Doing What I Love 🩵

My journey in the rescue community started back in 2019 when I adopted my own pup. From there, I was hooked. I volunteered with several local rescues and fostered well over 100 dogs! But as my sweet boy grew older, he became a little less tolerant of the constant revolving door of foster pups coming in and out of the house.

I knew I couldn't stop helping, but I needed a new way to do it. So, I did a complete 180 with my life. I changed careers and learned how to groom! 🐾

I started using my new skills to give back to local shelters and rescues, and I quickly developed a dream: I wanted a career where I could work daily with my hands and give back to the animals who needed it most.

One year ago TODAY, that dream became a reality.

I came in for a “working interview” at The PUPStop by Saving with Soul Pet Rescue, groomed a few of their sweet pups, and saw the exact room that would allow me to chase my dreams. Within three weeks, we had The Groom Room all set up, and the very first of many clients was on my table! ✂️🧼

Every single day, I work hard to show love to every client's pup who walks through my door, and extra love to all the deserving (and sometimes very stinky!) rescue pups at The PupStop. This past year has been absolutely amazing. I get to build a life for myself by giving back, and I honestly can’t wait to see what the next year holds as I continue to learn, develop my skills, and heal hearts every day.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to Jennifer Allan Hagedorn for giving me the chance to change the world for every dog I get to meet. 🩵

🎨 "Paint me like one of your French girls..." 🎨

To end the day yesterday, I had two gorgeous Newfoundland pups in the salon! Total groomer fail, though—I completely forgot to take official "after" pictures 🤦🏼‍♀️.

BUT... I just had to snap this picture in image_4.png after we finished drying this big beautiful girl! Since I dry the giants on the floor, it was time to get up for brushing. I told her it was time to move for like the 10th time, but clearly, what she actually heard was: “Leonardo DiCaprio is on his way to paint me, I must pose.” 🤣🤣🤣

Hey, when you're this fabulous, you don't just stand up—you serve a full dramatic monologue right there on the salon floor! 👑✨

☀️ Spa Day Success: Meet Phish! ☀️

Next up on the table was the handsome Phish! This sweet boy was adopted a few months ago from The PupStop, and today he came in for his very first official groom!

Although he's working a very serious, professional model face for the camera, don't let it fool you—he was absolutely bouncing with excitement to see us and so incredibly thrilled for his big spa day! 🐾✨

We took him from super shaggy to a fresh, cute summer cut to keep him feeling cool and looking sharp. He did such a wonderful job, and I already can't wait to see him again for his next pampering session! 💇‍♂️💛

🌸 Spa Day & Adoptable Dog Alert: Meet Shady! 🌸

Next up on the grooming table was the beautiful Shady! This super chill older lady is currently looking for her perfect forever home through The PupStop. Every time I visit her, she is always the absolute sweetest, and she really is a total dream who just wants to cuddle and nap all day! 🥰💤

For her spa day, Shady had a soothing medicated bath to help her skin get back into tip-top shape and encourage some hair to grow back in a couple of small places. She thoroughly enjoyed being pampered from head to toe, and as you can see, she is looking absolutely radiant and ready for her close-up! 🍋✨

I can't wait to see this sweet girl again! Let's help Shady find the cozy retirement couch she deserves.

🐾 Spa Day Spotlight: Meet Rhett! 🐾

Yesterday started with the absolute sweetest gentleman, Rhett! 😍 This handsome old man is a proud The PupStop foster fail, and he proved to be a total pro for his spa day!

Rhett thoroughly enjoyed his relaxing scrub down and was an absolute angel while being gently blow-dried. We did a little tidy-up to reign in some of those wild hairs, but you know we had to leave his gloriously messy ears exactly as they are—they have way too much personality to trim! 👑✨ Just look at that perfect little tongue-out pose!
