A HUGE thank you to Pasture Paws Pet Treats for their generous donation of freeze-dried treats at our adoption event this past Saturday at the Feed Lot!

We're happy to report that the shelter dogs conducted a very thorough taste test, and the results are in: 100% of shelter pups approved! Tails were wagging, noses were sniffing, and not a single treat survived the investigation.

Thank you for helping make our adoptable dogs feel extra special and loved. We truly appreciate your support of our shelter and the animals in our care

At just 10–12 weeks old, Gracie has two speeds: FAST and ASLEEP. This tiny kitten is convinced that everything in the world is meant to be chased, including things that don't exist. We're still not sure what she sees half the time, but she's determined to catch it.

Meet Taco Tuesday!
Taco Tuesday is a 1-year-old orange cat, which means he's operating with all the classic orange cat features: zero personal space, unlimited affection, and questionable decision-making.
This sweet boy is absolutely obsessed with attention. If you're petting him, life is good. If you're not petting him, he'll be filing a formal complaint.
You'll often find him sitting at the window watching birds, squirrels, leaves, or absolutely nothing at all. We aren't entirely sure he knows what's going on, but he's having a great time.

Former street cat. Current king of the couch. Professional treat inspector. Full-time lap occupier.

Zorro spent the first part of his life surviving the streets, but now that he's discovered the luxurious indoor lifestyle, he's fully committed to never working another day in his life.

His daily responsibilities include:
Supervising the food bowl
Demanding pets immediately upon arrival
Testing every lap for comfort
Following you to the kitchen "just in case" food magically appears
Looking deeply offended if treats are not provided on schedule

This handsome 3-year-old Siamese has traded alleyways for air conditioning and has absolutely no intention of going back. The moment you sit down, Zorro assumes you've done so specifically for him. He'll happily curl up in your lap, purr like a tiny motorboat, and remind you that personal space is a myth.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING FOSTER FAMILY, Rey, Caitlyn & Kenna!

Today, we want to recognize an incredible family that has made an immeasurable impact on the lives of animals in our community.

Rey and Caitlyn, along with their daughter Kenna, have helped save the lives of over 60 animals through fostering. That's 60 animals who were given a second chance because of their love, patience, and dedication.

They have opened their home and hearts to countless puppies, kittens, and animals in need. From providing round-the-clock care to sick or underage animals, helping scared pets learn to trust again, and giving them a safe place to grow until they find their forever homes, this family has been there every step of the way.

A special thank you to Kenna, who has been a huge part of this journey. Her compassion, helping hands, and love for the animals have made a difference in so many little lives.

The reality is that shelters cannot do this work alone. Foster families like Rey, Caitlyn, and Kenna make it possible for us to help more animals than we ever could on our own.

Thank you for every late night, every foster, every goodbye, and every life you've helped change. We truly couldn't do it without you.

Meet Cricket, a 10-week-old kitten with eyes so big they can be seen from space and a personality that can be heard from three counties away.

Nobody told Cricket he's a baby. In his mind, he's a tiger. A fearless explorer. A world-renowned athlete. A professional parkour champion. Unfortunately, he's just over 2 pounds, so things don't always go according to plan.

One minute he's sprinting through the room at Mach 5. The next he's tripped over his own feet and is staring at you like you somehow caused it.

His giant eyes have gotten him out of trouble his entire life:

Hello peasants, my name is Elton, and yes, I am aware that I am devastatingly handsome. Please try to remain calm.

At just 10 weeks old, I've already mastered the art of looking adorable while doing absolutely nothing. I strut around like I own the place, because honestly, I probably do. My fur is flawless, my face is perfect, and my confidence is somewhere between "movie star" and "ancient Egyptian deity."

I'm also a professional purr machine. Seriously, pet me once and I'll start rumbling louder than a pickup truck with a muffler problem.
