Low Cost Vaccines!
The count down has begun to the quarterly Saturday TCAP! Come on down Saturday November 7th, from 10:00am to Noon for all of your cat and dog vaccine needs! You must arrive before noon!
Please be sure your pet is properly restrained inside a kennel or on a leash.

Whether you're trick-or-treating, handing out candy, or enjoying a cozy night at home, we hope everyone has a fun and SAFE Halloween!

HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY!

Calling all the cat parents out there! Today is YOUR day to show off your four-legged, furry little overlords!

You know the ones… the cats who own the house, steal your spot on the bed, scream at you for food while their bowl is STILL FULL, and act like you're the one living in THEIR home.

And speaking of royalty… Kevin, our office cat, would like to remind everyone that he is, in fact, the KING of the Azle Animal Shelter.

He did not ask for this job. He simply showed up, claimed the throne, and made it very clear that the rest of us are just here to serve him. His royal duties include supervising staff, judging everyone silently, and looking absolutely fabulous while doing absolutely nothing.

But we know Kevin isn't the only king or queen out there! Every cat parent has a little furry ruler at home, and today we want to meet them!

It's that time of year....Deer Rut Season is coming!

Help prevent wildlife-related incidents BEFORE they happen!
* Slow down and stay alert, especially near wooded areas and deer crossings.
* Watch for deer along the roadside.
* Remember...where there's one, there may be others.
* If a deer crosses the road ahead, slow down and be prepared for another to follow.
* Avoid swerving suddenly; this can create an even more dangerous situation!

Meet Glenda

This sweet 1-year-old Lab Retriever mix spent several weeks wandering the streets, scared and unsure of where to go. We may never know what her life was like before she came to us, but we do know that when Glenda first arrived, she was frightened and had a hard time letting her guard down.

With lots of patience, love, and encouragement from our amazing shelter staff, Glenda has learned that it's okay to trust, have fun, and let her personality shine! And let us tell you… this girl is FULL of personality!

The once-shy girl has blossomed into a goofy, loving wiggle-butt who absolutely LOVES belly rubs! Getting her to sit still long enough to enjoy one? Well… let's just say Glenda has places to be and people to love!

She's proof that sometimes all it takes is a little kindness for a beautiful personality to bloom. Now, this sweet girl is ready to trade shelter life for a family of her very own — one who will give her all the love, belly rubs, and happy adventures her heart can handle.

FROM A DRAINPIPE TO DREAMING OF A FOREVER HOME!

Meet Georgie! This 2-month-old little guy has come a LONG way from his days as a tiny street kitten living in a drainpipe.

Back then, Georgie was just a little baby trying to find his way in a big, scary world. But look at him now! He's discovering that life can be so much more than just surviving. Now, he's ready for the finer things in life… like a cozy bed to curl up in, toys to chase around, and a human who's willing to spoil him rotten.

Georgie has gone from wondering where he would sleep to dreaming of a place he can finally call home. And honestly? After the start he's had, we think this little boy deserves ALL the comfy beds, all the toys, and all the love his tiny heart can hold.

Now he's just missing one thing… YOU!

MEET CHURCH: THE TINIEST OPERA SINGER IN TOWN!

OHHHHHHHH, ADOPT MEEEEEEEE!

Church is a 2-month-old kitten who has apparently decided that being a regular kitten is simply not dramatic enough. This little man has discovered his voice, and now the entire shelter is his personal opera house. The performances are frequent, the volume is impressive, and the audience (aka shelter staff) never gets a break.

Church is currently accepting applications for his next big role: your personal entertainer, professional vocalist, and full-time heart thief!

All he needs is a forever home, a loving family, and someone willing to listen to his greatest hits on repeat.

TWO HAPPY TAILS, TWO FOREVER HOMES!

Our short king Gizmo and our coolest goofy boy Gumbo have officially found their forever homes!

From silly antics and goofy smiles to sunglasses-worthy coolness, these boys have stolen hearts here at the shelter, and now they get to spend their days surrounded by the love they deserve.

We couldn't be happier for these two! Thank you to their new families for choosing adoption and giving them their happily-ever-afters.

Happy tails, Gizmo & Gumbo! May your new lives be full of toys, treats, cuddles, and all the love in the world!
