Please read. We will always spay/neuter any cat that we encounter.
😻 This beautiful kitty was found by a good Samaritan. Healthy and sweet, she assumed he had an owner so she posted online as a found cat. We reached out as soon as we saw the word: intact!
Some people might disagree, but I'm not here to argue. If there is an unfixed cat in my area that I am able to help, I'm going to do it. ✅ I don't care if it's friendly or feral. There is no way to tell if he is owned or abandoned. Spay and neuter is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do for ANY cat ‼️
Finders often cringe a little at the thought of fixing a cat that could belong to someone else.
"Well, what if they don't want their cat fixed?"
"What if they don't like the ear tip?"
"What if they get mad at me?"
Good questions and my answer to them is simple: "You're welcome." Confused? Read on...
1. The cat would be much less likely to be roaming onto someone else's property if he were fixed.
2. If the cat has an ear tip, even if he roams a little, the neighbors will know he's fixed.
3. And don't worry, I'm not "stealing" your cat. I am returning him to the location he was found, better off than he was. He will be free to go back home or the finder will continue caring for him.
4. I just saved you hundreds of dollars because your kitty will now be much less likely to get into fierce fights where he will be injured and possibly catch (and spread) diseases.
5. Once a male cat is neutered, his nuisance behaviors (like spraying and fighting) dramatically decrease. This makes them much less annoying to the neighborhood and people are less likely to be mean to them to get them off their property.
6. I also took care of scheduling the appointment and transporting your kitty to get fixed as well as the payment.
Again, "you're welcome". 😉
