Meet Maggie, the 5-year-old Bernedoodle! 🐾🤎

Maggie is here for the next two weeks to work on her manners! She has plenty of love to give, but she’s still learning that the baby needs a little personal space and greetings are best with four paws on the floor! We’ll also be working on keeping those paws off the counters and making walks more enjoyable without all the pulling.

Her family’s biggest goal? Off-leash freedom! We’ll be building the reliable recall, focus, and impulse control she needs to work toward that goal. Welcome, Maggie! 🐶

Gunner took his training to Lowe’s to put his obedience to the test! 🐾 It’s one of our favorite stores to practice in, with plenty of opportunities to work around new people, noises, carts, and other distractions.

Knowing commands at home is a great start, but learning to follow through in the real world takes practice! Outings like this help Gunner build confidence and learn that the same expectations apply wherever he goes. He’s getting some final practice in before heading home tomorrow! 🎓

Remember Wesson, the scared, anxious shepherd who arrived wearing a muzzle? Look at him now. 💙

Three weeks later, he’s calmer, more confident, and has even made a few friends along the way! Watching him learn to trust and feel more comfortable in the world has been so rewarding.

Now it’s time to head home and put those new skills to work with his mom. His learning doesn’t end here—together, they’ll keep building on everything he’s accomplished. 🐾

Everyone say hello to Penny! 💕🐾

This one-year-old Boxer is joining us for a two-week board & train! Penny gets along well with other dogs and brings plenty of energy to playtime, but she can get a little carried away with her human friends—jumping, nipping, and playing too rough.

During her stay, we’ll be helping her learn better boundaries during play, a calmer way to ask for attention, and how to enjoy a walk without pulling her person along!

We’re looking forward to getting to know you, Penny! 💙

🐾 Meet Gunner! 🐾

This handsome little Dachshund puppy is joining us for some training! 💚

Like most puppies, Gunner is still figuring out the rules of the world. His biggest struggles right now are potty training and learning that listening isn’t always optional! 😂

We’ll be working on building good habits, creating consistency, and helping this little guy understand what’s expected of him so he can grow into a well-mannered pup!

Welcome, Goldie! 💛 This 5-month-old cutie is checking in for training to work through some kennel anxiety and a little stubborn streak! We’ll help her feel more comfortable settling in her kennel and learn that listening can be pretty rewarding. We’re excited to get started with this sweet girl! 🐾

Welcome Cooper! 💛 This 11-month-old Golden Retriever is spending the week with us, and he’s bringing plenty of puppy energy along!

Cooper is awesome with kids and loves being part of the fun, but he’s still learning how to handle all that excitement—and how to feel comfortable when things make him nervous. Sometimes that means getting a little too mouthy during play, helping himself to what’s on the counter, or turning a walk into a full-on alligator wrestling match. 🐊😂

Our goal this week is to help Cooper build confidence and learn that he can enjoy life without everything feeling so overwhelming or exciting. From calmer interactions to more comfortable outings, we’ll be giving him and his family tools to make everyday life a little easier. We’ll work on some comfort with handling and nail trims along the way, too!

We’re excited to get to know you, Cooper! 🐾

Wesson is out experiencing the world! 🐾💚

Here he is practicing his place command at Lowe’s, working on staying settled while people, carts, and new sounds move around him. For a dog who has struggled with fear and trust, these everyday experiences are an important part of his training.

We’re giving Wesson clear guidance and time to take things in, helping him learn that he can look to his handler for support instead of feeling like he has to handle everything himself. Each outing is an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen communication, and learn that the world doesn’t have to be such a scary place.

One experience at a time, Wesson. 💚
