4th of July is in exactly TWO (2️⃣!) weeks!! 🎆 If your dog is boarding with us—even if they haven’t needed it before but ✨especially✨ if they have needed it before—please reach out to your vet TODAY for anti-anxiety medication (gabapentin, trazodone, etc.)! Do NOT wait until the week of July 4! Unfortunately, we do have people that set off fireworks around the neighborhood, so it’s not if but WHEN your dog hears fireworks. You, your vet, us, and especially your pup will appreciate having something to help them IF it’s needed! We recommend bringing enough for at least a few days, as fireworks can sometimes be heard in the day or two before and after July 4 as well. We also highly recommend an emergency in-town contact (or two!) that can come pick up your pup in case they are super stressed out and just aren’t having it.
P.S. We are also closed for July 4th! We will be here taking care of your pups as usual, but the lobby will be closed. Latest drop off is July 3rd and earliest pick up is July 5th!
