I've been asked about the dog bite a lot ....here's all that's left of it. I also get asked if I'll ever groom the dog again, yes I'll give it another chance, dogs have bad days too, but if it's aggressive again there is no 3rd chance 🐕

Happy Boss's day to our boss. Walter has been here from the beginning. He can be hard to deal with when asking for time off, but luckily he accepts bribes usually in the form of any treat 😁. He not only runs the place he also washes windows 🤣

This is Rocky....when he came in for boarding he was in a muzzle, the owner said don't touch him, put your fingers or hands by him, don't get in the kennel with him he will bite. Rocky was wagging his tail as his owner took the muzzle off, so I knew we were gonna be friends... I let him get used to the place and me for 2 days then I stuck my hand by him....(I was also still sporting my stitches from the German shepherd bite), he licked my hand, so ok let's try letting him out, we were instant friends. He's been here a month he gets to go home tomorrow and I'm gonna miss him. I'm glad he wanted to be my friend (my doctor is glad also I told her about Rocky today 🤣)

These 2 were feeling left out. They are my son Coles dogs and they come to work with him every day. Roxy is a 125 year old pug. Stormtrooper is a white Frenchie, yes he's the one usually jumping up in the window to check on everything. So other than 3 cats 2 were dumped out here, and 1 was boarding here and its owner died. That is all the behind the scenes pets out here. The goats, cows, and chickens are an entire other deal and hopefully they never have to hang out in this shed with us 😁

The last behind the scenes pup of ours is Bourbon....we took her in about a year and a half ago from a couple that decided she needed rehomed. I changed her name from Daisy to Bourbon (she was not a delicate flower type). She is our wild child. She one of the pups that jumps up in the window if you're standing in our office area. She has to know what's going on at all times. She doesn't walk she runs and loves chasing all the squirrels out here. She is a blue and tan with cute dots on every one of her toes, and she does not like to get out of bed in the morning.

Today is Lizzie B day! She is 3, a blue merle, and she is our medical nightmare pup. She's had 3 emergency surgeries, had a turn with IVDD (that's why she had a wheelchair), but she's wild again now. She still runs like a drunk donkey, but she is living her best life. If you've been out here she's usually in the shed with her partners in crime.

Today's behind the scenes spotlight is on our 5 year old red & white pied Frenchie... Jessi Pinkman. She is Walters daily sidekick. She is very much a momma's girl, so she wants all of my attention and doesn't like to share. She is the one that tried dying in my vehicle in February after her surgery. She's back to crazy as usual after that!

Meet our behind the scenes crew. Today it's Walter White, he's a blue fawn Frenchie, that turned 6 in July. Walter loves everyone, he is pretty lazy as he gets older, but an occasional zoomie does kick in once in a while. As you see, his face expresses his feelings quite well.

I've seen a lot of fleas coming in on dogs lately, which is never good news to an owner. This is just my opinion but I don't think the topicals have much effect anymore. I've had owners tell me they use those and their dogs still have fleas. I personally use NexGard but I've also used the pill form from the vet both seem to do a great job. If your dog has fleas your house probably has them so be proactive and treat your pets so you don't have to fumigate your house and saves me fumigating out here 🙃
