Earlier this summer, Preston, son of Jen Stickrod at the Manning clinic, participated in the Carroll County Fair's Bacon Buddies program.
Developed by the Iowa Pork Producers Association in partnership with Special Olympics Iowa, Bacon Buddies pairs individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities with 4-H and FFA youth mentors, creating an experience where participants can share the excitement of showing pigs at their county fair and the Iowa State Fair.
We're proud to support Preston and all the participants who make this program so meaningful. Way to go, Preston!

Time for a Transformstion Thursday update!

Ok the title may not be catchy but we figured we would share an updated picture of the triplets some of our team got to help deliver in February! Affectionately known as the Golden Girls, with a little supplementation from our clients and a close eye kept on mama, they grew great!

What an honor it is to support the next generation of livestock exhibitors and agricultural leaders. Whether it's supporting first-year 4-H members, helping with weigh-ins, volunteering wherever needed, or sponsoring events, we are proud to play a small part in making the Audubon County Fair a success.
Thank you to the countless volunteers, families, exhibitors, and community members whose dedication and hard work make the fair possible each year. We're grateful to be part of this community!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce a vital member of our AMVC family, Jack, crossed over Rainbow Bridge surrounded by love on Friday afternoon. Over the past few months his health has declined significantly and as much as we would love to keep him forever, we knew it was time for him to embark on his next chapter in life.

Jack came to the clinic as a young stray and from the moment he became ours he has been making a lasting impression on all who have been fortunate to know him. He has been a constant fixture and a comedic relief, (even if it was due to his ornerytendencies,) but one of Jack’s most loving and admirable attributes was his ability to sense when people were needing companionship, and a cat to pet.

Our hearts, clinic hallways, printers, desks, and really anywhere that Jack claimed as his, will feel a little emptier in the days to come, but we are forever thankful that we were able to love him and be loved by him.

Jack leaves behind his “little brother”Howie, our clinic staff, but also all of you, his followers, to carry on his legacy and to leave the world a little better and brighter by the interactions we carry out every day.

Thank you all for being a piece in Jack’s life story❤️
