Hello Fellow Park Goers!

I feel like this shouldn’t have to be said but here it goes.

PSA:
There have been several attendees at the park (on both sides) that have not been picking up after their pups. I know no one looks forward to picking up their dog’s p**p but it is a responsibility that all dog owners have. On the large side alone there are approximately 12-14 p**p piles that people have just left there. Not only is that gross, it can be hazardous to the others dogs health. The snow IS NOT an excuse to not pick up after your dog. You should be dressed accordingly to trudge through the snow to get to your dog’s doo-doo. If not, do not come to the park. You cannot expect that the kind people who take it upon themselves to help and take out the p**p buckets and what not should pick up after you. The park is only cleaned up by regulars who go and want their dogs to be safe and happy.
If you are seen not picking up after your pup you may be asked to leave the park and possibly suspended for a period of time. Please help keep the humans and the dogs safe. Thank you! Attleboro Dog ParkATTLEBORO DOG PARK

Howdy! Just little ole me with a public service announcement. The large dog side is expecting a few deliveries of wood chips in the next couple of days and possibly even today. Along with a tractor to spread them. If you take any chairs out to sit on rather than the benches, please place your chair back up against the side of the fence. We are trying to make it easier for the volunteers. Thank you!!!!! And the pups thank you most!!!! Howdy!!!!

A quick shout out to those helping to spread our chips. We are hoping and needing to get a lot more but are working with what we have been given. Thank you for that! I want to let you know we still have a pile to spread however, the wheelbarrow is not our friend right now. If you are willing to spread some chips and there is a member of the comitee there that can get you access to the green cart please ask. The wheelbarrow has no wheel. In fact it may have imploded probably last year or the year before now that I think back to how hard it was to use. We are looking into trying to get a new wheel. A very big and deep heartfelt thank you to everyone who came together and helped to build the new ramp for the large dog side!!! Some may not know, but our ramp rotted out about a month or so ago. With a huge donation of materials and time we were able to salvage the old frame (which was still in good condition) and build a new ramp!!! A giant shout out to Hugo without you this wouldn’t have happened. Wayne you need to be thanked as well. All of the supplies were such a generous donation. Also thank you to Tim, Sudhir, Kathy, Sherry, and Pete for the help and manual labor from everyone! This park thrives because of people/dog owners like you, who care!
