The Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter (FAAS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization, who donates our time and hearts to the Cats and Dogs in Attleboro and surrounding communities. We are committed to nurturing and promoting the animal-human bond and creating a community where our relationship with companion animals is guided by compassion. Our dedication and c

ommitment is achieved through adoptions, community awareness, fostering and caring for companion animals until loving homes can be found. Our Vision is to reduce the number of unwanted animals through community Spay and Neuter programs, Low Cost Vaccination Programs and Micro-Chip events all while raising awareness and promoting responsible ownership.We are deeply committed to these goals while ensuring the financial security and stability of the organization for future generations. Each year, hundreds of abandoned companion cats and dogs looking for a second chance in life are successfully placed in loving homes through adoptions facilitated by FAAS.

He was found on 7/20, in terrible condition. A person took him in her house, groomed him and held onto her until 7/26 before we were notified. She found him in her driveway at on Thomas Ave.

Obi aka Obi-liscious is very curious why he's been overlooked for so long. He's watched his siblings and kids go home, yet he remains.

Obi can be shy when you first meet him. Once he's done being shy, the real Obi comes out. The real Obi is full of love, he gives hugs and loves to smooch. He is great on leash and enjoys his walks but he always saves time to cuddle.

Stop by the shelter during adoption hours. Make sure to let the receptionist know that Obi sent you!
