Fall is a fabulous and favorite time of the year! The weather is (arguably) the best and of course the foliage is beautiful!

The farm as been busy with normal day to day care--Vet check, farrier, foal training, and projects. Our amazing team of care givers is just that.. amazing! The farm looks fabulous and that's because of the efforts of everyone! We appreciate them!

We have had some really wonderful events over the last few weeks.. a wonderful wedding and a birthday party.

It's a bitter but sweet day at Neversink Farm. We say good by to 2026 #10 Sunny (Chief x Ember) as he has left for his forever home with his owner Beth and Sweet Pea (2025).

Sunny, who is shy but sweet, has been a pleasure! Nicknamed " Guppy", because he was so adorable in trying to close the distance to touch you with his mouth, but not wanting to get too close too quick, he was loved by the care team! He has learned to touch (you) on command (Thank you Dawn Feindt for that!). He's a good boy!

Our care team becomes attached to each and every horse at the farm. They give each one their best -- especially the babies who need to learn life around humans and a farm. Their sadness when one leaves is assuaged by the knowledge that they have made a positive difference in the life of a wild born foal. That helps to give them the best life possible!

Thank you to each member of the care team. The hours each day and week you spent with Sunny at the baby Barn were so helpful and appreciated!

Neversink Farm wishes Aly and Brice all the best on their wedding! They are two amazing beautiful people, hard working, God loving from great families!

Neversink Farm was honored to host the wedding yesterday - and even a little bit of rain only made the day more special!

Thank you all who attended, helped in any way. It was great to get to know the families of this wonderful, now married couple even better! Thank you Mark and Jeff!

Also a big thank you to the Neversink Farm Family and caregivers- who help each day at the farm! It all matters and added up to a wonderful day for Aly and Brice!

Neversink Farm welcomes "Spirit" ( 2026 #77 Maverick x Joanesie) to the farm! It's a cool, rainy Nor Easter day here at the farm, but this little fella is a bright ray of sunshine and warmth!

Spirit walked off the trailer like he's been here forever and settled right in to the Neversink baby barn.

He and his owner Teresa are hanging out (nice and dry) and getting aquatinted nicely! Barn Buddy Sunny (Chief x Ember) is helping to coach him on barn life!

Spirit is doing great and loves to roll on the pine shavings! Thank you to all of th Saltwater Cowboys for all of your efforts to car for the herd and help dr amazing come true!

Neversink Farm would like to welcome Darlah to the farm! She just arrived, and after a stay in our quarantine area she will be joining Sterling as buddies!

Darlah is a Perch Morgan cross..she's super sweet, chill, pretty and just a nice girl to be around!

We are very sad to hear of the closing of th Chincoteague Pony Centre! Our friend Monica and her family and team worked incredibly hard and did such a great job there! It really filled a need in the community! You guys did a great job!!

Beautiful grazers!

Over the past year the farm and it's team have worked very hard on our pastures and grazing areas. Starting with adding organic composted material, w**d control and seeding under the guidance of local USDA folks, pasture rotation, mowing, bush hogging, w**d whacking and timely rainfall, the results this summer have been remarkable!

It's great to see the horses on green grass and looking so good!

Thank you to the Neversink Farm team who works so hard to make the farm a great place for the horses! Cailee, Dawn, Mike, Christina, John, Elissa and Scott and many more!

Despite a rough winter, and dry spring the farm looks amazing and the horses all have beautiful grazing!

It was a blue ribbon day at Neversink farm! We were truly privileged to again host Brave + Barefoot, a nature-based homeschool support organization out of Virginia. This was our second year of hosting, and it was like old friends coming home.

Last year we had maybe a dozen and a half and this year just shy of 30 individuals!

These are great families with their homeschooled children who come out to learn real world situations and skills. It truly was a blessing and an honor to be with them. Great families and great kids!

Thank you to Taylor from Brave +Barefoot for bringing them here again! We truly truly love having you guys here! We look forward to you coming again next August and encourage anybody who could benefit from this great organization to contact them! https://bravebarefootadventure.square.site/

Thank you also to the Neversink caregiver team! All the efforts you put into the farm and to the amazing equines here allows us to be able to host events like this!

Special thank you to Cailee Schubert for training the World Famous Molly B! Who gave pony rides to nearly a dozen and a half kids today! You guys did great!

Also thank you to Dawn Feindt for helping at the farm get prepared for all the mowing cleaning and all you do! The farmland fantastic! Dawn also let everybody on a terrific tour of the farm and facilities!

Also thank you to power couple Martha Van Poppering and Hank! (Hank is our 73 John Deere tractor who pulls our Hay wagon!)!

Again a beautiful day and thank you to all for being here! Continued best wishes to Brave + Barefoot every can't wait to see you next year!
