Beautiful grazers!

Over the past year the farm and it's team have worked very hard on our pastures and grazing areas. Starting with adding organic composted material, w**d control and seeding under the guidance of local USDA folks, pasture rotation, mowing, bush hogging, w**d whacking and timely rainfall, the results this summer have been remarkable!

It's great to see the horses on green grass and looking so good!

Thank you to the Neversink Farm team who works so hard to make the farm a great place for the horses! Cailee, Dawn, Mike, Christina, John, Elissa and Scott and many more!

Despite a rough winter, and dry spring the farm looks amazing and the horses all have beautiful grazing!

It was a blue ribbon day at Neversink farm! We were truly privileged to again host Brave + Barefoot, a nature-based homeschool support organization out of Virginia. This was our second year of hosting, and it was like old friends coming home.

Last year we had maybe a dozen and a half and this year just shy of 30 individuals!

These are great families with their homeschooled children who come out to learn real world situations and skills. It truly was a blessing and an honor to be with them. Great families and great kids!

Thank you to Taylor from Brave +Barefoot for bringing them here again! We truly truly love having you guys here! We look forward to you coming again next August and encourage anybody who could benefit from this great organization to contact them! https://bravebarefootadventure.square.site/

Thank you also to the Neversink caregiver team! All the efforts you put into the farm and to the amazing equines here allows us to be able to host events like this!

Special thank you to Cailee Schubert for training the World Famous Molly B! Who gave pony rides to nearly a dozen and a half kids today! You guys did great!

Also thank you to Dawn Feindt for helping at the farm get prepared for all the mowing cleaning and all you do! The farmland fantastic! Dawn also let everybody on a terrific tour of the farm and facilities!

Also thank you to power couple Martha Van Poppering and Hank! (Hank is our 73 John Deere tractor who pulls our Hay wagon!)!

Again a beautiful day and thank you to all for being here! Continued best wishes to Brave + Barefoot every can't wait to see you next year!

Neversink Farm welcomes "Sunny" to the farm! He's #10 Chief Ember.

He's a beautiful big spirited boy but is settling in well! His new family (3 generations ) camped here at the farm and are helping to make his transition go so well! We are glad he is here!

Neversink Farm welcomes "Sunny" (2026 foal #10), and congratulations to owner Beth and her family!

Sunny arrived this afternoon, and immediately began to settle in and learn that people are pretty nice!

We thank all of the Saltwater Cowboys and Chincoteague Fire Company for the tireless efforts to take care of the herd,.the swim, the auction, the carnival and all they do. Nowhere else in the world do we have what we have here in Chincoteague!

Welcome Sunny! And thank you to 2021 Gunner (Maverick x Suede) for "babysitting and helping Sunny make an easy adjustment!

Due to very unfavorable weather forecasts, wth deep regrets, we will be cancelling tonights kids vs adults event at Neversink Farm!

We were so looking forward to hosting an event for people here for the pony swim and looking to come interact with horses!

Due to today’s forecasted thunderstorms and limited staffing during Pony Penning week, we’ve decided to cancel today’s Kids vs. Adults Stable Showdown.

While we’re disappointed we won’t get to see everyone today, we’re already looking forward to bringing this event back!

Stay tuned—we’ll be announcing a new date soon! We can’t wait to get everyone together for a day of friendly competition, family fun, and great memories at Neversink Farm.
