Memorial Service according to the funeral home website is Monday Dec 30th at 2:00pm at Union Baptist Church Chincoteague for my sweet friend Lynn Matthew’s.

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share with you all - Our Sweet Lynn Matthews passed away peacefully this morning at their home! Lynn was a long time 4H Leader for our club and many of you, kids and grandkids spent a lot of time at their Pony Pines Farm, doing horse events, schooling, shows, lessons, preparing for competitions, you name it! And I bet the majority of you sat around the big table and ate some of Lynn‘s amazing food. Lynn was always hard-working, generous, beyond wonderful And a best friend to many of us! Lynn’s famous words, (mostly to Donnie)

“all you got to do is!”

She will forever be missed and will forever be in our hearts and our memories!!!

I love you my sweet friend! I cherish every moment spent!

Does anyone remember the name of the vendor at Stars that sold the two colored halters, dog collars, cat collars that they would embroidered for you while you wait? Like this one?

This post from Hannah’s Mom—->>That smile says it all!!! We are Proud of Hannah and Page as they traveled to compete in the Southern Regional 4-H Horse Show!! They arrived in Perry, Georgia not knowing what to expect or any other competitors! They are members of and represented the Hoof Beats by the Beach 4-H club in Accomack county Va. They were the only ones there from the Eastern Shore! Hannah and Page held their own and were a class act! They were only point/s away from the ribbons in classes as big as 122 competitors. They met and competed against other 4-Her’s from Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi and Virginia. We have met some forever friends and had an awesome time together! Thanks goes to. Kerra of Johnson Equestrian, LLC for helping make this experience possible! Thanks to Suzannah Lang, Hannah’s 4-H leader for all the texts and calls to check up on them!!! Thanks for all the prayers for safe travels!
