With the holidays right around the corner, now is the perfect time to get scheduled!

I’m excited to announce that I’ll also be offering occasional Monday and Saturday appointments, along with later appointment times for those who need a little more flexibility!

I’m currently booking appointments for the remainder of the year, so I encourage everyone to schedule ahead, especially around the holidays!

Little update!
I’m finally getting ready to slowly start grooming again beginning the week of September 14th! I’ll be easing back into things at first, so my schedule will be a little lighter while I get back into my routine.

I’m also excited to share that I’ll be opening a grooming shop in town soon! The goal is to give everyone a little more flexibility and make appointments more convenient. I’ll still be keeping my other location and continuing to offer boarding there, this will just give me an in-town grooming option as well. It will also allow for quieter one on one grooming experiences. 🐾

The opening date for the new shop is still tentative, but I’m hoping for the beginning of October and I’ll keep everyone updated as things come together!

If you’d like to get on my grooming schedule sometime over the next month or so, feel free to message me and we can find a spot that works. No rush — I’m just starting to get everything organized again. 🤍

And seriously, thank you to everyone who has been so patient and understanding while I’ve been off. I appreciate you guys more than you know, and I’m so excited to get back to seeing everyone and their pups. 🥹🐶

There are some people who become part of the story of a business long before anyone else ever sees what it might become.

For me, one of those people was Jon.

When Pawsome was just an idea and I was trying to figure out how to make it real, Jon believed in me. He took a chance on me, helped me get started, and gave me support during a time when I needed someone to believe that I could actually build something of my own.

This year marks 7 years in business, and I can’t help but think about how different my life might look if he hadn’t been willing to help me take that first step.

Over the years, he continued to ask about the business, encourage me, and be proud of what it was becoming. I’m especially grateful that I got to share some of the exciting things I’ve been working toward with him and hear his support for what was coming next.

Jon passed away unexpectedly, and it’s hard to put into words what his loss means to our family and to me personally. But I know one thing for certain: a piece of what I’ve built will always belong to his story too.

I will forever be grateful that he believed in me before there was much to believe in.

As I celebrate 7 years in business and look ahead to the exciting things still to come, I want to find a special way to honor Jon and the part he played in making all of this possible.

Thank you, Jon. I hope you knew how much it meant to me. 🤍🕊️

Had my last day of grooming before surgery!

Just a reminder that I’ll be having surgery on Monday, July 27th, and I’ll be out of grooming for approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on my recovery.

🐾 Boarding will remain OPEN! I’ll have some amazing help caring for your pups while I recover, so I appreciate your patience and understanding as everyone steps in to help during this time.

I also just want to say thank you. I am truly so blessed to have the most incredible clients. Your support, kindness, and trust mean more than you know, and it never goes unnoticed. All the conversations I’ve had these last few weeks have meant the world to me.

This isn’t goodbye—just a little break! ❤️

And stay tuned… I have some exciting things planned for when I come back. I can’t wait to share them with you all!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to give my clients a heads-up about an upcoming change this summer.

At the end of July (about 4 weeks away), I will be having a major surgery that I’ve needed for quite some time. I’ve put it off as long as I could, but it’s time to focus on my health so I can get back to feeling my best.

Because of this, grooming services will be paused during my recovery period. At this time, I expect to be out for approximately one month, but my return date will depend on how recovery goes. I will keep everyone updated as I get closer to returning.

I do still have grooming appointments available throughout July, so if your dog is due for grooming, I encourage you to get on the schedule.

Boarding services will remain open during this time, so if you have boarding reservations, those plans will not be affected.

Unfortunately, daycare will need to be placed on hold for the time being.

I appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support while I take the time needed to recover. My goal is to come back healthy and ready to continue providing the best care possible for all of your pets.

A fresh clean start for another week of boarding pups. 🐾

Running a dog boarding facility means lots of cleaning, laundry, and daily upkeep, but giving dogs a safe, comfortable place to stay while their families are away is always worth it.

We're ready for our next guests! ❤️

ATLANTIC!! FOUND DOGS!
These two dogs were found in the road between the backside of Walmart and the golf course. Since the Atlantic Shelter could not help, the good Samaritans that found the dogs, they are on their way here with the dogs. They are not micro chipped and do not have ID tags. Does anyone know where they belong? Please call us at 515-834-1157.
