🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT FROM TIDY TAILS WASTE SOLUTIONS 🚨
Atlanta-area pet owners — we want to make our community aware of a growing health concern that has been increasing across Georgia and the southeastern United States: Lone Star Tick bites and Alpha-gal Syndrome.
The Lone Star Tick can trigger Alpha-gal Syndrome, a serious allergic reaction that may cause people to become allergic to red meat and other mammal-based products after just ONE bite.
⚠️ Symptoms can include:
• Hives or rashes
• Severe stomach pain
• Nausea
• Headaches
• Difficulty breathing
• Dangerous allergic reactions in severe cases
As a company that works outdoors daily across Metro Atlanta yards, parks, and pet-friendly communities, we believe it’s important to help educate and protect our customers, their children, and their pets.
🐾 WHAT YOU CAN DO TO STAY SAFE:
✅ Keep grass trimmed and remove yard debris
✅ Check yourself, your children, and pets for ticks after outdoor activity
✅ Use veterinarian-approved flea & tick prevention
✅ Wear long sleeves and insect repellent in wooded or grassy areas
✅ Bathe pets regularly and inspect paws, ears, and fur carefully
