Happy Howl-o-ween from Buckhead Pet Pals! 🎃🐾👻

Tonight may be filled with costumes, candy, doorbells, trick-or-treaters, and plenty of spooky fun, but for our pets, all that excitement can be a little too exciting.

Keep dogs and cats safely indoors, secure doors and gates as trick-or-treaters come and go, and make sure candy, especially chocolate and anything containing xylitol, is safely out of reach. If your pet isn't a fan of strangers or doorbells, give them a quiet, comfortable space away from the action.

And costumes? Only if your pet is comfortable wearing one. Sometimes their birthday suit is spooky enough. 😂

Here's to a Halloween filled with more treats than tricks, plenty of happy pets, and absolutely no disappearing acts through the front door!

Happy National Cat Day! 🐱❤️🐾

Oh, cats. Where do we even begin?

We love their independence, and the fact that they still somehow manage to supervise everything we do.

We love the purrs, head bumps, biscuit making, slow blinks, window watching, midnight zoomies, tiny meows, BIG opinions, and their uncanny ability to locate the most comfortable spot in any house.

We love the social kitties who greet us at the door and the shy ones who peek around the corner to make sure we're preparing dinner correctly. 😹

Most of all, we love that every cat has a completely individual personality. Earning a cat's trust and learning exactly how they prefer to interact is one of the best parts of being a professional pet sitter.

Today we're celebrating all the fabulous felines we're lucky enough to care for throughout Atlanta.

And while it may look like they're just standing there smelling the same patch of mulch for an eternity, their brain is busy gathering information. Who's been here? Another dog? A squirrel? The neighbor's cat? 👀
