Cricket arrived covered in open wounds, emaciated and fragile. We blurred her photo because what she’s survived is too hard to see.💔

We don’t know her story. We only know she needs help, and our Shelter Medicine Team is treating her wounds one by one and feeding her slowly and carefully. She’s fighting, but she still needs you.

Give early for Giving Tuesday and your gift will be 4X matched to help Cricket get the care and fresh start she deserves. Visit secure.atlantahumane.org/4Xmatchedtoday to give today.

5pm sunsets got you feeling some type of way? 🌅 Same. Good news: we’ve got puppies who specialize in cuddles, tail wags, and making dark evenings way better.

Yesterday, our Operation Humane team helped with a rescue of around 100 dogs from one home in Northwest Georgia. They had been kept in the dark with no clean water and no clean place to rest.

Today, 35 of those dogs are safe with us in Atlanta, and their recovery is just starting. Thanks to our 4X match, your gift will be quadrupled to give them the medical care, food, and attention they’ve gone without for far too long.

Their second chance starts with you. If you'd like to donate, visit secure.atlantahumane.org/4Xmatchedtoday ❤️

📅 Save the date: Giving Tuesday is December 1!

This year, you don’t have to wait to be part of it. Early giving for GAgives on Giving Tuesday has started, and our 4X match is now live, so every gift goes four times as far for animals in need. When you give early, you help get the movement started and show the animals in our care that our community is behind them. ❤️

Visit secure.atlantahumane.org/4Xmatchactive to make your 4X matched gift today.

Before our animals meet their families, they meet our volunteers.❤️

The people who sat with them when they were nervous, played with them until they came out of their shell, and cheered them on all the way to adoption day. Volunteering with Atlanta Humane is an amazing way to make an impact on the lives of homeless animals.

Want to be that person for an animal in our care? Learn more about our volunteering opportunities at secure.atlantahumane.org/l/990712/2026-10-05/5k39b.

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at Atlanta Humane. They walk dogs, socialize cats, help at events, and so much more. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to jump in every week, there’s a spot for you on our team.❤️

Ready to get started? Tag a friend you'd love to volunteer with & visit secure.atlantahumane.org/l/990712/2026-10-05/5k39b to learn more about our volunteering opportunities.

P.S. We hit the Beltline to ask Atlanta what they think about volunteering. Tune in tomorrow to see how we spread the word! 🎤

Look how cute Chive is settling into her new foster home!🐱 This chatty, cuddly girl loves headbutts, zoomies, and stealing pizza when no one’s looking. She’s great with other cats and wants a family who’s home often.

Huge thanks to her foster family for giving her a cozy place to shine.❤️ Interested in fostering? Visit atlantahumane.org/foster to see our foster opportunities.
