Our focus isn’t in riding bucks out (even though it happens šŸ˜…) or manhandling horse into submission. Horse MUST have a choice and our goal is to reach a point where horse chooses partnership with humans. After all, it’s much nicer to ride a willing horse 🤠

We focus on building a trusting, quiet, and thinking mindset to establish mutual communication, work ethic, and most of all, life-long partnership.

A thinking horse that can self-regulate, maintain quiet mind, and chose partnership with you, will follow through in any situation where most horses wouldn’t.

We always welcome owners to participate in sessions and learn about their horses, learn training techniques, and to make sure their partnership will continue to progress when the horse goes home.

Horses in our program have something to work on daily, this helps them establish new mindest where partnership with humans is a daily normal. Depending on a specific situation, some horses might have 2-3 sessions a day, some horses might have 4 hour sessions… we focus on horse’s learning style to best support their progress.

It’s not a cookie cutter program, each horse is an individual and requires a unique approach.

$1,200 / month with full boarding included.

Why pick a trainer that is focused on training Arabians?

Arabian horses possess a beautiful, distinct energy and a deeply sensitive view of the world. While many mistakenly label this breed as "crazy", it is simply because few truly understand their brilliant minds.

Our program embraces their expressive, bright nature rather than trying to suppress it. We know that working with an Arabian requires a profound understanding of their perspective and the ability to gently direct, rather than force, their natural vibrance. We allow them to fully be themselves—energetic and spirited—while cultivating a quiet mind that willingly accepts the rider’s compassionate leadership.

Before an Arabian horse steps foot on the trail, we utilize our signature groundwork to fully prepare their mind for critical thinking and self-regulation. We ensure every horse has a thorough, dependable foundation, mastering specific real-world skills designed to replace panic with logic. Our program educates horses to:

MANAGE PRESSURE
Calmly drag objects such as logs, ropes, and barrels, and carefully step over tall obstacles rather than rushing or jumping over them. We teach horses to respond to pressure with quiet walking feet to release pressure, instead of bolting, bucking, or rearing.

NAVIGATE ENVIRONMENT
Sidepass effortlessly to fences, mounting blocks, rocks, or branches for easy mounting and trail navigation. Horses learn to stop when you start losing balance, stand and wait for you if you fall, as well as follow you without lead rope.

MAINTAIN CONTROL
Stand quietly and remain completely calm if their legs become tangled, ensuring a minor mishap doesn't become a dangerous situation.

PROCESS FEAR PRODUCTIVELY
Respond to unpredictable or scary situations by keeping their feet walking and thinking, rather than bolting, bucking, or reacting blindly.

VALUE YOUR LEADERSHIP
Maintain focus, stay deeply responsive to your cues despite environmental distractions, and look to the human as their trusted leader.

How our program works?

We are dedicated to developing a quiet-minded, willing partner through a foundation of deep trust, mutual willingess and respect. Rather than forcing compliance, our focus is on engaging the horse mentally, cultivating their awareness, curiosity, and desire to cooperate. By helping them process pressure from a thinking place rather than a reactive one, we empower the horse to voluntarily choose a true partnership with the human.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. MINDFUL GROUNDWORK: Moving away from mechanical compliance, our groundwork focuses entirely on mental engagement and emotional self-regulation. By nurturing the horse's ability to think and process rather than react, we develop a quiet-minded, responsive partner whose willingness stems from a place of true understanding and trust.

2. WISDOM OF THE TRAIL: We move beyond the boundaries of the arena and use the natural world as our primary classroom. Navigating diverse environments produces a beautifully versatile, adaptable athlete. The trail invites the horse to become a thinking partner, rather than a reactive animal.

In the open country—among steep inclines, rocky mountainsides, water crossings, and brush—we teach horses to think critically under pressure. Rather than blindly obeying, they learn to think critically and navigate safely through dense brush while assessing the landscape and independently selecting the safest, most stable path forward.

3. TRANSITION TO HOME: A positive transformation is a shared journey. Owners are always welcome to participate in the training sessions. As the program nears completion, we encourage owners to ride their horses on the trails with us to ensure a smooth, supportive, and confident transition when your horse returns home.
