5 years ago I took a leap of faith rather spontaneously, but I knew if I didn’t do it then, I wouldn’t. Sold my car. Used the money to buy a mobile grooming horse trailer that my husband and father in law drove south to pick up. Within a month, we threw something together at our home in Grove City throwing my type A personality into a tizzy. No plan, but complete trust in God that I would not fail. Horse trailer turned into shed, a second small shed, moved the sheds to Ashville, and laid our roots in concrete here.
As I reflect, I’m overwhelmed in gratitude. I’m thankful to my husband who never asked questions or doubted, but just helped me make it happen. I’m thankful for the hard days that you’ve pushed, supported, or carried me.
I’m thankful to my family and friends who prayed, listened, advised, and encouraged me in this dream I have talked about for nearly a decade.
I’m thankful for my mentors and previous work experiences where I gained wisdom in this journey.
I am grateful for all of my furiends. Whether you’ve been a client for a decade or a month, thank YOU! Your trust in me to serve your canines to whatever capacity is personal and dear to my heart. Walking this life together is so special to me.
And last, but certainly not least, what a God I serve! Adonai! He has brought this business and community exceedingly and abundantly further than I asked or imagined. I pray I can continue to be obedient to His voice and I look forward to the people He places in my path. I’m grateful to walk life with them all.
