Knine Rescue is a small non-profit 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to animal care and protection. We are a private organization, run solely on donations. We assist shelters and other rescues (both in our area and out of our area alike), and take on word of mouth tasks. Our goal is to promote responsible animal ownership and to assume those responsibilities when others are unwilling or unable to do so. If you are in the DC, MD, or Northern, VA areas, we can assist you in selecting the right pet. Please ask us about pet selection and check out the animals currently in our adoption program – www.kninerescue.com. We are also available to assist you with any questions or problems you may have concerning your companion and we encourage you to contact us. Placing animals in new homes is a responsibility we take seriously. Our adoption program includes an application form, contract, home visit and adoption donation, used to fund our rescue operations. All persons interested in adopting a pet from us must read and complete the forms.
