Skip is in need of a foster (or even better, an adopter!)
He’s @15 lbs, looks like a possible chi mix. He follows people around and likes to be nearby. He is shy and uncertain so needs a calm and patient leader who will allow him time and space to settle in.
He is housebroken, loves to snooze, plays fetch. He's quite smart. He has a favorite toy and will go get it if you try to play fetch with a different toy 😂 (it's a cute choco-taco!)
He has no issues on walks with passing dogs, does not chase rabbits or squirrels. He will beg for food but is respectful and doesn't jump.
We think he'd do best in a quiet home without kids - as sudden nosies can startle him.

CAN YOU HELP?

We are trying to save 8 amazing dogs. All are facing euthanasia due to shelters being full.

IF we can find 8 heroes, we can save their lives. Please reach out asap if you can open your home and heart to a dog in need. They would arrive this weekend. All dogs are vetted and behavior tested and Knine provides supplies.

SUZY Q: One year old spayed female, 80 lbs. Very sweet and outgoing, adopted as puppy and returned due to 'no time'. Lived with cats + dogs in previous home. Not destructive when left home alone, totally house trained, loves toys, she is crate trained/leash trained and used to riding in cars.

OLLIE: 40 lbs 1 year old neutered male. Infinitely kind, sweet/outgoing. Good with all dogs, loves playgroup. Knows how to sit and knows verbal commands like come/stay. Found with demodex mange, been treated, fur is now growing back. NOT contagious. Kid friendly, was used as a volunteer training dog.

APRICOT: 5 mos, 25 lbs spayed female. Puppy personality, just a baby, very sweet.

WALNUT: 25 lbs female, Puppy personality, very sweet and submissive.

MYA: 3 year old spayed female, 25 lbs. Super sweet, good with everyone

HOWL: 25 lbs 8 mos old male, Small stubby basset hound mix puppy, mostly full grown, good with cats/dogs/kids

BUDDIE one year old neutered male, 60 lbs. Owner surrendered due to losing his home. Absolute sweetheart, fluffier coat style, does great with small kids, never jumps on you. Does well with other dogs. Adopter said he is the 'perfect dog' and completely housebroken.

JAGGER 5 year old neutered male 65 lbs. Ultimate family dog - he is playful when you want him to be, calm otherwise. Loves to carry his tennis ball around, knows how to sit stay and other commands. Housetrained. Does great with other dogs. Has been bathed since photo and had excess floof hair removed. Stray.
