It was another great week for adoptions at the APL!🐾

Congratulations to Hershey, Eddie, Bubby, Arrow, and Dolly on their adoptions! ⭐

Not pictured but also adopted were Jamison, Marshmallow, S'more, Rex, Leo, Rebel, and Zillow!

Meet Empanada! 🧡

This playful girl is full of energy and always looking for her next adventure. Whether she’s chasing toys, climbing cat trees, or scaling her favorite mountain (you!), Empanada knows how to keep life exciting. She’s curious, active, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing.

Empanada has been treated for mycoplasma, a respiratory condition that can cause cold-like symptoms in cats. Thanks to the antibiotics she received, we’re hopeful she’ll enjoy life with minimal flare-ups, especially in a calm, loving home. Many cats with a history of mycoplasma go on to live happy, normal lives with little to no ongoing issues.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who will keep you laughing and make sure you’re never lonely, Empanada might be your perfect match! Come meet her today at the ACAPL. 🐾

🆘 We have an urgent foster request! 🚨

These two dogs, “Genesis” (approx 6 years old) & “Stella” (approx 1 year old), came to us yesterday from a humane situation. They are in poor condition, especially Stella. You can see from the photos that she is very skinny. Both dogs need some TLC. ❤️ They do not have to go to a foster home together and are alright with being apart.

Neither of the dogs are fixed yet, so if there are other dogs in the foster home, they’ll need to be spayed/neutered.

Pepper is two years old, and has two sides to him.

One part of Pepper is eager to run and play, and embark on countless adventures... and the other part of Pepper easily wears himself out and just wants to take a nap. It's a tough life, but whether Pepper is chasing balls or enjoying a quiet evening of pampering, he's happy to be by your side. 🧸🐶

As a bonus? Pepper is known for having lovely leash manners amongst staff and has always been very polite during his outings. You can't lose with Pepper.
