I am super proud of Bo the Beagle and his owner Gary. We just wrapped up our intro to basic obedience private lessons with an outing to our local hardware store.
This was our first outing together and they did AMAZING!!
We are planning to get together later this spring and continue the learning on both ends of the leash! These guys did great!!
Keep up the good work team!

Toby the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is crushing it halfway through his board and train here at Canidae Solutions!
Toby started with big challenges like jumping on everybody he met, face licking, leash pulling, and basic manners with both humans and dogs. Already, he’s walking nicely on leash, picking up house routines, and loving PROPER socialization with new furry friends… thanks for helping out Cobain!
Over the next 2 weeks, get ready for outing adventures to polish real-world skills! His sweet personality and nice food drive makes every session a win.

Blueberry and her handler went on an every day adventure to Lowe’s this weekend and did absolutely amazing! This team is an absolutely perfect match and I couldn’t be more proud of them! This was made possible the amazing non-profit, K9 Heroes 4 Heroes. They pair service dogs with men and women who serve their country and community. Heeling is Healing!

Today was a busy day!
Ivy the young Airedale had an in home private lesson where she practiced all of her basic obedience commands with the Three Ds. Distance, Distraction, and Duration.
Amira the German Shepard had a public access outing at Home Depot and had a fun time mixing play, obedience, and relaxing with some affection. Amira has had some pretty substantial reactivity in the past, but tonight she did absolutely amazing, was laser focused in OB, relaxed and affectionate on her breaks, and displayed some excellent decision making in choosing play over reactivity.
I was super proud of both of these pups and their owners. I love my job and helping dogs become their best selves!

Samwise is back! One of my favorite Golden boys is joining me for a hybrid board and train program.
He spends the week with me and the weekends at home, where his person works on generalizing the new behaviors I am teaching.
At Canidae Solutions I customize dog training to fit your specific needs!
Sam suffers from some pretty intense noise sensitivity and general anxiety because of it.
We are counter conditioning that sensitivity and teaching him that strange noises are a part of life, and nothing to be afraid of.
He has made amazing progress in just one week! Be on the lookout for an upcoming video where I demonstrate how a box can help loud noises be less scary!
