It is with great sadness that we wave so long to 3 of our Around Midnight family members as they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dublin, Jake and Lancey the footprints you left on our hearts will never be erased.

The Loudoun Pet Expo was awesome! Prior to this year’s Expo, I had not participated in an event in years. I forgot how much work and how much fun they are. There were so many cute dogs, interesting businesses and creative people. I was between two painters and a lady who makes resin dog tags. It was great to see clients I had not seen in years. Artisan Market & Studio in Leesburg is open for business and is AMAZING. The collection of local talent is very impressive. I am humbled to have my items included. There is something for everyone! There are also other items for pet lovers made by others. Be sure to stop and shop when you get a chance.

I am so excited that select items from Midnight's Treasures--the online pet store by Around Midnight Pet Services--will be available for purchase at the Artisan Market & Studio in Leesburg. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will be this Friday at 10:45am. Artisan Market & Studio is an awesome place. It features beautiful items by a number of local artists. Be sure to come out and support local artists!

As some of you may know, I was a little bit nervous about going to work in an office outside of my home--even if the office is mine. I must say it has been a pleasant surprise. Today, my suite mates and I worked together to brighten the day of some unsuspecting residents here at Lansdowne Woods. BrightStar Care Leesburg/Gainesville/Winchester/Woodbridge/Springfield, The Care Concierge LLC and Wall Street Fusion assembled and delivered these beautiful flowers today. The smiles and squeals of delight were priceless! The squeals reminded me of my furry friends.

I "worked" this weekend. While the request to care for my furry friends and the offer to enjoy the pool was extended several times, this weekend was the first time I HAD time to do both. It was nice to wake up with my friends who I had not seen in a very long time and to enjoy the beautiful weekend weather with them.

Several years ago, the mom of this adorable crew moved out of my service area. We said our so longs; I gave her a referral to another company. All was quiet. Then, this text! 🤣😂I love my clients or ask I like to say my extended family. Stay tuned for the rest of the story later today...

Where is Crystal? I am back in Virginia!!! I have opened an actual office for my other business The Care Concierge. As many of you know, The Care Concierge was inspired by requests from Around Midnight clients. Around Midnight is alive and well but not operating on a full-time basis at this point. We take client requests on an as-can-do basis. With me going into an office, most services are very limited and In-Home Boarding is not currently available. If I am able to find a pet-friendly landlord, I will resume In-Home boarding with the help of my team. I have seen a few of you and look forward to seeing the rest of you. I miss my family in California, but I am thrilled to be back in Virginia. Virginia became “home” without me realizing it.
