We had 15 adoptions yesterday!!!!! On a Tuesday!!!! This is amazing and we are so thankful for each and every one of them!!! Let's keep this momentum going! We still have a shelter FULL of amazing adoptable pets looking for their forever homes... Like Dottie, pictured here. Dottie is a VIP Pet for her time in the shelter. She listens well, knows sit and LOVES to play with a ball.

Did you know, when you adopt a dog from Arlington Animal Services it includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, heartworm testing, a microchip and more.

Did you know, all dogs at Arlington Animal Services are individually evaluated around people and other dogs? If a dog is in our adoption program it means no negative behaviors have been observed.

Did you know, if you have a dog at home and are looking to adopt another, we encourage you to bring them with you for an official meet and greet at the shelter.

The City of Arlington is hosting its 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at Tierra Verde Golf Club.

The tournament is just one of many fundraiser activities, led by the City of Arlington and its employees, to raise donations for the American Heart Association.

Registration is now open for ACTIV’s fall 2025 recreational league season, which starts in September and runs through November. Participants ages 50 and older can sign up for men’s basketball, co-ed pickleball, co-ed volleyball or co-ed co****le.
