🏆 SENSATIONAL DREAMS GETS IT DONE AT DEL MAR! 🏆

Congratulations to Moody Creek and all the connections of Sensational Dreams on a fantastic win yesterday at Del Mar!

Making her first start on the dirt, she showed us what we’ve always believed she was capable of. After missing the break, Joel Rosario stayed patient, saved ground, found the opening he needed, and Sensational Dreams did the rest—drawing away to win by an impressive 3½ lengths!

She’s always shown us plenty of talent, and sometimes it just takes a little time to figure out exactly where a horse is going to perform at their best. It certainly looks like we found her home on the dirt.

A big thank you to Ernie and Mercedes and everyone at Moody Creek for doing such a tremendous job raising her and for their continued support. Thank you to Rosario for a great ride, and especially to my entire team at First Home Thoroughbreds for all the hard work they’ve put in throughout the Del Mar meet.

Now we’ll give her a little time and hopefully see her back in 3–4 weeks at Santa Anita. Excited to see what’s next for this filly! 🐎💨

Abeja Reina 🐝👑
Our big, beautiful two-year-old filly Abeja Reina schooling in the paddock this morning at Del Mar. She looked absolutely awesome and handled everything like a seasoned pro.
She’s really grown into herself — big, strong, classy, and has a great mind to go with it. We’re excited about how she’s progressing and hopefully we’ll get to see her make her debut toward the end of the Del Mar meet.
She sure looks and acts the part. Now we just have to see if she can run like one! 🏇💨

🏇 WELCOME BACK, WIKI KANE! 🏇

What a performance from Wiki Kane yesterday at Del Mar! After nearly 10 months on the sidelines, he showed everyone what kind of horse he is. Juan Hernandez saved ground, came charging up the inside, and Wiki Kane absolutely finished like a freight train, flying late to get the job done. It was a thrilling race and a huge team effort!

Congratulations and a huge thank you to Juan Hernandez for a terrific ride, Doug Barnhart, Kevin, the Deary family, and all of our Firsthome Thoroughbreds Partnership owners for believing in this horse and being patient throughout his comeback. A special thank you as well to Barton Thoroughbreds for breeding such a talented runner.

These are the moments that make all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you to our entire barn staff for the countless early mornings and dedication that helped get Wiki Kane back to the races in top form.

We're incredibly excited about what lies ahead. If all goes well, we're pointing him back toward August 20th here at Del Mar.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We can't wait to see what the rest of the meet has in store!

🌴 Omaplaya 🌴

Some horses catch your eye. Others make you believe they could be something special. Omaplaya is one of those horses.

This big, athletic 2-year-old c**t by Omaha Beach has all the qualities you hope to see in a young horse with a bright future. He has the size, the presence, and, most importantly, the attitude of a horse that wants to be a racehorse.

We're taking our time with him and letting him develop at his own pace. While there's a chance you may see him at the end of the Del Mar meet, our focus is on the long game. We believe Omaplaya is a true two-turn horse, and we expect him to really come into his own as a 3-year-old when he gets the opportunity to stretch out.

Good horses are built, not rushed. Right now, every gallop is another step toward that goal, and we couldn't be happier with the way he's progressing.

Here are a few photos from his gallop this morning, along with a video of him going around the track at Del Mar. We're excited about what's ahead and can't wait to share his journey with all of you.

For those who have been following along, you know I've been really high on Tausret from the beginning. Today she had her first work over the Del Mar surface, and I couldn't be happier with what I saw.

She worked 4 furlongs in 46.3, doing it all within herself. She was just a touch slow leaving the gate, but quickly found her stride and finished with plenty left in the tank. It was a very professional, effortless move, and exactly what we were hoping to see.

This was her final workout before her scheduled debut on July 31st, and everything remains right on track. The rider came back absolutely loving her, which only adds to the excitement.

She's a filly we've believed in for a long time, and now it's almost time to see what she can do in the afternoon. We have high hopes for her and can't wait to get her to the races.

Wiki Kane is a very lightly raced 3-year-old with a lot of upside.

As a 2-year-old, he made just two starts, finishing 1st and 2nd. In his second start, he missed the break badly, spotted the field several lengths, and still rallied strongly to finish second. It was a tremendous effort and showed us the talent he has.

After dealing with a few minor issues, Wiki Kane is back in training and had his first workout this morning. We were very pleased with what we saw. He did everything easily, moved well, and looks to be heading in the right direction.

The current plan is to point toward a five-furlong turf race at Del Mar, and we're excited to get him back to the races.

I've always liked this horse. He has plenty of natural ability, and I believe his best days are still ahead of him. As he continues to mature and develop, I think he has the potential to be a very nice California-bred runner.

We're looking forward to the journey and can't wait to see him back on the track.

Khonsu is a horse I've always believed had more talent than his race record showed.

As a two-year-old, he dealt with some nagging shin issues and never really got the opportunity to show us what he was capable of. Now, as a three-year-old, he's back in training and thriving.

Khonsu worked 5/8 this morning in 1:00 1/5 and looked outstanding doing it. He continues to get stronger, more mature, and more confident with every work. His best days are still ahead of him, and I truly believe we haven't seen the best of this horse yet.

I'm very excited to see him return to the races and think he is a horse worth keeping an eye on as we head toward Del Mar.
