Update regarding our beloved egg vending machine. Over the past 30 years, it has brought joy to many, but recently it has faced some challenges due to increased demand. We truly appreciate the love and support it has received, but we’ve noticed some instances of misuse. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that everyone can continue to enjoy this unique experience, and to help us manage the situation, we will be adjusting the hours of operation.

The new hours for the egg vending machine will be:

Monday - Saturday: 8 AM - 4 PM
Sundays: CLOSED

Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep this special service available for all.

Greetings from our family!

Due to the increased support and influx of visitors at our barn store, we are adapting to the various changes within our industry. Our barn has been fortunate to welcome new customers, and we are sincerely appreciative of this. To ensure we can continue serving our community effectively, we must implement a limit on our egg sales. We cherish our community and aim to provide eggs daily during our regular business hours. Our dedicated team is diligently working to accommodate everyone, so please take a moment to greet them. Although it may appear that we operate on a large scale, we are, in fact, a small family farm. We kindly ask for your patience as we strive to keep our barn well-stocked and maintain a positive atmosphere. Thank you once again for your support of our family and our chickens!

It’s a perfect time for us to introduce ourselves and express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support and affection for our family farm. We are proud to be the fourth generation of the Glaum family, with Marli, Mikayla, and Gavin leading the charge as we navigate the exciting journey of growing our business. Together with our dedicated team, we are committed to providing our community with fresh, local eggs.

Our hands-on approach encompasses every facet of our operations, from caring for our birds to production, processing, retail, and sales. We truly cherish our community and are immensely thankful for the support we’ve received over the past century. Markets and grocery stores throughout Santa Cruz County are unable to stock eggs due to outbreaks of avian flu, which is causing a nationwide shortage.
