I wish I was as happy in this heat as this narrow leaf mountain mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium) lol. Mountain mint is a Virginia native, perennial, and pollinator magnet…it also will not take over like non-native varieties, so it Is perfect for the garden. I’m sold out of this narrow leaf variety, but I do have blunt leaf mountain mint (Pycnanthemum muticum). The blunt leaf variety smells and tastes a lot more minty.

I will be at the Appomattox Farmers Market this Saturday 8-12, but will most likely start doing every other weekend for the months of July and August…just to get some plants ready for fall.

Cochins prefer to roost lower than other chickens. Ensuring they have proper perches, installed at the correct height, will prevent feet and leg issues.

Where are we located?
We are located off of moonlight road in Appomattox, Virginia. GPS can help you estimate drive times if you put in Moonlight Rd. We do not have our address posted publicly, because we are not home all the time and want to prevent unannounced visits. Also, we have dogs that need to be contained prior to customers arriving.

Hours?
Short answer, when we are home and available. We are both registered nurses and have hectic work schedules. We have sold plants at midnight and at 8 am and everywhere in between. We are flexible, but unable to maintain regular business hours at this time. If you call and we do not answer, please leave a messagege and we will call back as soon possible (or feel free to text any time).

Shipping…phytosanitary laws are picky about shipping plants across state lines. If you are in the state of Virginia, we can easily ship. We do not know enough about shipping to ship across state lines at this point.

We are licensed by the Virginia department of agriculture.

We do accept special orders, but will require pre-payment. I can almost 100% guarantee we will beat any stores price for any plant.

We have over 100 of these limelight hydrangeas that are being bumped up from these containers to larger three gallon containers. They are $8 or three for $20 now and price will increase when they are in three gallon pots. They love full sun and bloom late summer.
