Happy National Dog Day to the reason we love what we do every single day. 🐾❤️

We are so incredibly lucky to love so many dogs throughout their lives. We get to watch the tiny, clumsy puppies come through our doors and slowly grow into the dogs we know and love. We watch them make best friends, find their confidence, learn, play, cause a little chaos, and become part of our DDG family. And before we know it, those puppy faces start turning into sweet sugar faces. 🥹🤍

There is something so special about knowing each dog for exactly who they are their favorite friends, their silly little habits, what makes their tail wag, what gets them excited, and sometimes even knowing what they’re about to do before they do it. 😂 We celebrate their birthdays, their milestones, their good days, and all the ordinary days in between.

And with loving so many dogs over the years comes remembering the ones whose paw prints will forever be a part of this place. Some familiar faces may no longer come running through our doors, but they are never forgotten. We feel so grateful that we were given the chance to know them, care for them, laugh because of them, and be just a small part of their lives. 🌈🐾

Thank you to every family who trusts us with such an important piece of their heart. We never take that privilege for granted. ❤️🐾
