Dustbunnies and Dog Hair animal sanctuary/ hobby farm. We take in special needs, breed alpacas and kunes Dustbunnies and Dog Hair is an animal sanctuary/ hobby farm.

We currently have alpacas, llamas, donkeys, mules, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, and of course dogs. We began by taking in unwanted, or hard to adopt dogs, that had medical needs. Then we started taking in larger animals that were in the same situation. We have a small mobile farm/petting zoo that we use to help offset the medical needs of the sanctuary animals. So one of the new alpacas had a premature birth. It did not survive. Just too premature. We removed the body away from the area. Pretty little female creature, but its possible the stress of travel, or the weather change, or just a failure to thrive. They can be extremely tough creatures but sometimes the stars don't align. Mom seems to be doing well.

And my chaos continues. Our trailer had a bent axle. Luckily we were able to borrow a trailer. Boys, etc loaded, unloaded, and trailer washed and returned. I did manage to find a briar patch and ground the hard way and confirmed once again that i do not bounce. But all good and all home.

I am being asked why I do not put the mini mule as being available. While he is gorgeous and not dangerous to adults, he IS dangerous to other animals. Even the full size horses have bite marks and such from him. He will jump fences with glee. Yes, some of the aggression MIGHT go away once gelded, but I have to consider the safety of ALL of the other animals here. The horses cannot even eat in peace without him biting then through the fence. He has attacked the geldings, and I don't mean their normal rough playing.

I have had several stallions here, none have been this bad, or caused this much damage. I found out after we got him that he had been abused, not maliciously, but due to ignorance.
