A huge thank you to Menards for hosting a donation collection box for the shelter!

Because of the generosity of Menards customers and the support of the store team, today Faith was able to pick up this wonderful donation for the animals in our care. Every bag of food, toy, treat, and supply helps us provide comfort and care while pets wait for their forever homes.

Sometimes the right dog just finds the right person, and you can’t help but think it feels a little like fate.

Yesterday, two of our most overlooked dogs found exactly the right homes. Ava found a family perfectly equipped to understand and embrace her unique needs, while Pete found a companion who was looking for a friend just like him.

And just like that, we are out of cat food! 🐱💜
We are so glad the pantry has been able to help those who need it and clearly cat food is a high priority to the community. Donations could definitely be used to stock up again! Thank you in advance.

Need a little help keeping your pets fed? Our community pet pantry is here for Steuben County residents. 🐾

Thanks to donated items, we’re able to offer pet food and supplies to local families in need. Supplies vary based on donations, but if you could use a little extra help, feel free to stop by during shelter hours and see what’s available. Residents may visit once per month.

This program exists to help pets stay with the people who love them most, and we’re grateful to our community for making it possible. ❤️

Kitten season has officially arrived...
And it arrived with friends.
And cousins.
And apparently the entire neighborhood.

Our shelter and fosters are overflowing with kittens right now, and more continue to arrive each week. They’re adorable. They’re playful. They’re tiny chaos machines. And they all need homes.
