Hey everyone! We've been a little quiet so I wanted to hop on here and let everyone know, we're still here, just in a crazy chapter of our lives! With the arrival of our daughter coming soon, weve been spending extra time with our son. But I wanted to give some updates on what our future is going to look like here at Red Barn Labradors
1. We had tried breeding & anticipated a litter of whites this past fall, however, Josie did not take. With that being said, we are unsure if she will be retiring or having 1 final litter. We had people reaching out about yellows so we'd love feedback on if this is something people would be interested in!
2. Our newest female Reign is almost 2! With that being said, we again arent 100% sure if were going to keep breeding or take a step back. However, we plan to get all her OFA's & testing done. She comes from phenomenal lines & we'd like to have at least 2 or 3 litters with her before shes too old. The earliest she'd be bred is late fall due to getting all her test back before seeing if she passes. So we will try and keep things posted with her.
3. Lastly, our Red stud, Goose & Silver female, Jane are officially fixed and retired! Jane has been a staple in our program that we never anticipated. I never had intentions of breeding a silver lab, however, many of you have raved about how spectacular her pups have been & had several requests for 2nd labs specifically from her. Shes been an amazing mom & so quiet & attention seeking. With all this being said, we are considering her up for a retirement home to a suitable home. If someone is interested, please reach out! Shes more than welcome to live her life out here but with another baby coming and chaos of life, we'd love to find a family or older couple who could dedicate more time and attention to her. Shes the sweetest soul and deserves to live in a peaceful environment. So again, we'd love to talk about her with anyone interested!
