It was 4 Paws Veterinary Group to the rescue Friday when adoptable kitten Van Gogh, a flame point Siamese mix, developed an eye infection.

Van Gogh is now on oral antibiotics as well as medicated ointment. He’ll need about a week of treatment and should be good as new. He will likely be ready to go at our fee-waived kitten and cat adoption event on September 5. 🧡🐾

We're offering fee-waived (free!) adoption of all our kittens and cats on Saturday, September 5.

Adopted felines come with the same goodies provided with all our adoptions: spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, a certificate for a free "wellness check" at participating veterinary hospitals, a free starter bag of the same food we've been giving them, and more.

Free adoptions valid on Saturday, September 5 only. Adoptions are done on a first come basis, and no advance holds are possible.

This event is made possible thanks to a grant from the ASPCA. 🧡🐾

We’ve had a dog treadmill in excellent working condition donated. Since it’s not something we can use here, it’s available free on a first come basis to whomever would like it.

Pick up from our Angels Camp adoption center Wednesday through Saturday from 11-5. Donation greatly appreciated if you’re able. Sorry, but we’re unable to place holds. 🧡🐾

We jokingly call Toby a “Forkie,” since he’s a Frenchie/Yorkie mix (he’s been DNA tested and it’s true).

Toby was briefly adopted but is back in our care. We generally don’t discuss surrender or return reasons on our social media due to privacy. If something is relevant, we will talk to potential adopters in person and adjust the pet’s description accordingly. Keep in mind that the reason often isn’t related to the animal at all.

Toby loves people of all ages, does fine with cats, and would love having another playful dog in his new home. He’s a peach.

Meet him at our Angels Camp adoption center, open Wednesday through Saturday from 11-5. Please arrive by 4 to meet animals. 🧡🐾
