Zoey & Murphy's Puppy #3 dropped some weight yesterday. Dropping some weight after birth is normal, but he dropped more than I like to see. I gave him a supplemental feeding before bedtime. I was encouraged first thing this morning when he had put on a little weight nursing on Zoey overnight. Then today in the morning his weight took a nose dive. His birth weight was 5.37 ozs. Today he went down to the low 4 oz mark. I started supplemental feedings today, every 2 hours. His weight has went back up to 4.5 ozs. When I have a pup in trouble....I just can't help myself .....I give them a name. I have been calling him..." Little Buddy"

We had 2 litters due in June. Anna-Jo & Murphy puppies were due June 23rd. Anna-Jo had her 7 puppies on June 22nd. Zoey & Murphy puppies were due June 27th. When I went to bed Sunday night I was wondering if Zoey was holding out till July 1st. Just incase I set a few alarms to check on her every hour. She had her first puppy at 2am on the 30th. 5 puppies total. 2 girls and 3 boys. This litter can have Smooth coat, Longhair, Wirehair and Silky-Wire. Everything went smooth, no complications. It would be great if every whelp went like Anna-Jo 's and Zoey's. Below are Zoey's puppies birth pictures.

Gabriella officially retired and had her spay surgery on Friday. We had to keep delaying the surgery because Gabby kept filling up with milk. She would hear puppies cry ....and bam....full of milk again. If we had a pup in trouble we could put the pup with Gabby and in an hour she would make milk and be nursing the puppy. Now that she has had her spay surgery.....will this end her filling up with milk....I really am not sure. Gabby's favorite thing ...is taking care of puppies....so time will tell. Gabby turned 8 years old May 25th. The way Gabby runs around you would never think she is 8. Gabby loves car rides and absolutely loves being out in the boat.

Happy Canada Day to all our friends & family! Tinkerbell is feeling more like herself. She had her spay surgery on Friday. This girl is such a ball of energy. She is now 4.7 pounds. That concerned us so she had a full blood panel before surgery. Everything looked good. Tinkerbell is 1 year and 8 months old.

Carmella ( Chew- Chew ....Chewy ) turned 4 years old on June 29th. We gave her a choice on her Birthday toy. We put some new toys in front of her...she chose a small pink fluffy duck that squeaks. So happy this girl is still with us. We almost lost her in January with complications with her pregnancy, labor and c-section. It has been a slow recovery process. Another full blood panel done a month ago was almost, back to normal. We will soon schedule her spay surgery.

Happy Birthday Max and Oakley! These two Gabby & Winston puppies turned 6 years old yesterday! I know your families love you very, very much!

Missing from this picture is Bandit, Charley and Charlie.

Sweet tiny Charlie ( black/tan) had a tragic accident in 2024 and her family lost her. She was extremely loved by her family and they miss her a lot.

Bandit ( Black/tan piebald with heavy ticking) was living in Delavan Wisconsin and owned by Karen Cole. I have tried phone calls (disconnected) email and FB messenger. I have not been able to reach her for over 2 years. Charley ( chocolate/tan) is owned by Carol Luke of Cedar Rapids. I was not able to get ahold of her. She moved out of where she was living. Phone is disconnected. No answer to email or FB messages. If anyone knows Karen Cole or Carol Luke, please have them get ahold of me so I can make sure they are OK and Bandit and Charley are Ok.

Bert and Ernie ( Sky & Nemo puppies) went home to Kellogg Minnesota yesterday morning. Congratulations Alliyah and Ryan on these adorable additions to your family. LOVE their names!

I am behind on some posts. Tom and I took a vacation for 3 days recently. In 2024 i wasn't able to squeeze in a vacation so in 2025...it was going to happen. It was wonderful. Tom and i did a lot of fishing and for the first time in a decade, we took NO fur babies with us. Ian and Makenna stayed with the dogs & puppies. Everything went smooth and they did an excellent job. We barely got back from our vacation and Tom ended up with a surgery and a 2 day ICU stay in Cedar Rapids. Ian and Makenna were both on vacation out of state when that happened. It was really something going between the hospital and home taking care of the fur babies. Tom is home, doing good and I am trying to catch up on some stuff. So......here are the pictures of Sky & Nemo's puppies vet visit on 6-20-25. All 7 puppies have their forever families! ***Kimber is staying with us and will be a future mommy.

Saturday evening Anna-Jo showed some signs that labor would start soon. We took a couple pictures of her HUGE belly! At bedtime she was really wanting mom and was not settling down. I took her into my whelping/chair bed and she was instantly happy. She cuddlled, falling asleep on me. Soon I felt contractions, she was sleeping through them. Totally happy and secure to be with me. We both got some sleep. Contractions got closer together and she woke up. I checked her and she had the bubble.....her water was about to break. I put her in the whelping box and very quickly the first puppy arrived. The first 6 were pretty quick. There was a little whelping pause and then the 7th made her appearance. No stuck puppies, no complications. I wish every whelp would go this way. Super smooth, easy on mom, puppies and grandma. Super special to have all that cuddle time with Anna-Jo before her puppies arrived. These pictures are the newborn pictures right after birth. 6 girls and 1 boy.

Thank you April Simkins and Carol Breckenridge !!! So many have reported the scammer page (Melsh Precious Dachshunds). They steal our pictures, posts, videos....even videos of our grandchildren playing with our puppies. April is one of our puppy families, she has Anden, who is a Carmella/Winston Puppy. Carol has 3 pups from us. Oliver a Gabby/Winston, Reginald a Brinley/Winston and Bennington an Ellie-May/Winston. ..FINALLY....Facebook has taken down the Scammer page. I wonder if they will send a notice to everyone that reported the page. Thank you to everyone that helped bring the Scammer page down!!!They do have their website back up...posting pictures of our past puppies. We are trying to get that taken down now.
