Hello Everyone! A number of you have observed that my residence is currently on the market. Please allow me to reassure our existing clients that RC Grooming and Company will remain operational in Jones County. We will be providing updates as more information becomes available. I have some very exciting news to share with everyone! One of my best students from Kirkwood will be joining RC Grooming and company!! Ava Ferrel is a true natural at Grooming. She is kind, caring and extremely sweet with both her four legged and her two legged clients! Ava is the kind of person that goes the extra step for her clients. Making sure they are comfortable and cared for in every way. Ava is extremely talented in Grooming and making your pup look handsome/beautiful. Please check out Ava's bio below and say hello!

Hi! My name is Ava Ferrel and I will be starting at RC Grooming as a new groomer! My first day will be April 10th and I’m going to be typically working every Thursday and Friday! I’m planning on adding more days very soon. I am so excited to start here! I got my certificate for grooming at Kirkwood three years ago. I then did an internship with Becky. I’ve fallen in love with grooming and been doing it non-stop ever since!

Becky and I have worked together since I entered the grooming program. She was my teacher. Then we worked side by side as I was taught the ins and outs and all the little secrets she knows. We’ve spent quite a lot of time together and I’m very privileged to call her my good friend.

Some personal stuff about me is that I love music! I spend a lot of time listening to all types of music and figuring out what kinds of music the dogs like! (They love jazz and Harry Styles.) I play a lot of games when I am not busy working!

I’m planning on staying here quite a while. My big plans are to move up north and start my own grooming business! For now I’m focusing on learning all I can, saving for the future, and making as much of a difference as I can in animals lives.

My overall thing that I want everyone to know is that I am specifically here for the animals. I am not doing this for any other reason than the fact that I know I can help your pets and treat them with respect and kindness.
If there are ever any issues from last minute rescheduling to charges PLEASE do not hesitate to let me know. I am here for all of you and want the best for you and your pets. I will always work with you!
