Dear Clients and Friends,
After 34 years in practice (how did time go SO fast?) and 29 years here in Southern New Hampshire, the time has come for me to slow down. I will be retiring at the end of August—something I do with very mixed emotions.
Having known so many of you for so long, I will truly miss the relationships we've built and the generations of pets you have entrusted to my care. It’s been a journey filled with laughter, learning, and yes, some inevitable sadness. I am deeply grateful for the trust you've placed in me and for the privilege of being part of your pets’ lives here at Hillsborough County Veterinary Hospital.
On the bright side, I’m looking forward to this next chapter: spending more time with my dog, walking the beach, rekindling hobbies like photography, and picking up new ones like hiking and biking. I’m also excited to travel and visit my grown children in Richmond, VA and Lewiston, ME—as well as reconnect with the many friends I’ve made along the way.
Hillsborough County Veterinary Hospital remains in great hands. We have a truly outstanding professional and support team that will continue to provide the warm, personal, high-quality care you’ve come to expect. Dr. Rory Dion, Sarah, and Randy will be here to address all of your needs moving forward.
Thank you again for letting me be a part of your lives for these past six years. I will miss you and your pets dearly, but I leave knowing they will continue to be well cared for.
With sincere appreciation,
Jim Belanger, DVM
