We are proud to announce that Emily Moon, who has been an integral part of our team as a Veterinary Technician, has officially achieved her long-standing goal of becoming a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. This accomplishment represents years of dedication, hard work, and deep commitment to animal care, and we are thrilled to be able to continue working alongside her in this new role.
Dr. Emily Moon grew up in Rochester, NY and completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at SUNY Brockport before moving to Arizona to attend Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Ever since she can remember, she has wanted to be a veterinarian. For career day in first grade, she dressed up as a vet, and she has been on that path ever since! Dr. Moon grew up with all kinds of pets, and now is the proud mother of two dogs, five cats, and three rabbits. She is passionate about working with cats and dogs as well as small mammals like rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and mice.
In her personal life, Dr. Moon enjoys being outdoors, especially for a good hike. She also loves crafting, and you can often find her cuddled up on the couch with her dogs Wallace and Esther working on her latest knitting project.
