Everyone, meet the sweetest dog ever — Cookie! 🍪🐾

Cookie is a three-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart of gold. Her life started off a little rocky — she was found tied to the front door of the Amarillo SPCA, heavily pregnant. Despite that rough beginning, she gave birth to a litter of happy, healthy puppies. Now, it’s Cookie’s turn to find her forever family!

Cookie is a certified snuggle bug, sunbather, and elite-level fly catcher. She would happily spend her days lounging in the sun or curled up in your lap — especially if she can keep you safe from those pesky flies!

She prefers a calm home with no active dogs, as she’s a bit of a chill old soul and likes her personal space (don’t we all?).

Meet Evie! Evie is a 1 1/2 year old staffie/Curr mix currently living at the SPCA. Evie is the sweetest girl and is currently looking for her forever home! Evie was the most lovable little girl, she was so excited in the car to come visit us for a playdate! Evie enjoyed cuddling with our staff, but playtime was her favorite, and she made so many new friends! Evie would love to meet you, and would really thrive in a home with siblings! Introducing Coconut! Coconut is our SPCA Pet of the Week, she is an approximately 4 year old (DOB 2021) mixed breed possibly some Lab/Pit and Shepherd. Coconut is the sweetest girl, and loved getting all of the cuddles from our staff. She was a little uncomfortable making new friends, but with time and patience Coconut could adjust to life with siblings, but she would be just as happy as an only pet in your household. If you are looking for a furry sidekick to occupy your passenger seat, a couch potato to watch movies with, or a walking buddy to enjoy this beautiful Amarillo weather, Coconut is your girl! Meet Mr. Heart, our Amarillo SPCA pet of the week! Mr. Heart is a lab mix approximately 1 ½ years old, and he is looking for his forever family! Mr. Heart is a lovable friendly little pup, he can sit, walk on a leash, loves car rides, and has a very healthy appetite! Mr. Heart is looking for an active household with a family who loves to take him outside. He would be great in a home with other dogs (we do not know how he does with cats or tiny humans). He did well with male and female dogs of different ages, but his favorite interactions at the resort were with our staff (especially when treats were involved)! If you are looking for a furry friend to warm your heart and your home, go visit Mr. Heart at the Amarillo SPCA!
