⭐️Meet Ellie!⭐️
Ellie is a young puppy working on building her confidence here at Sidekicks, and today she’s practicing one of our favorite enrichment exercises—a sensory bin sniff-and-find game!

This activity involves placing various safe objects with different textures, scents, and shapes into a contained area (like this kiddie pool!), then hiding small rewards or treats for the pup to discover. It may look like simple fun, but it’s actually a powerful tool for puppy development and confidence building.

Here’s why we love this exercise:
🐾It encourages natural foraging behaviors in a safe, structured environment.
🐾It helps puppies desensitize to new sights, smells, and textures, which can reduce fear and anxiety in unfamiliar situations.
🐾It boosts problem-solving skills and builds independence.
🐾Most importantly—it’s a fun way for puppies like Ellie to explore and grow!

Confidence-building activities like this are a key part of raising a well-adjusted, resilient dog. Keep up the great work, Ellie!

Looking for Loving Homes!

Recently, one of our amazing clients had three sweet dogs show up on her property—likely abandoned. After an extensive search, no owners have been located, and now we’re doing everything we can to help find these babies the loving homes they deserve.

All three have not been spayed/neutered, but are scheduled to be soon through TTU Vets. They appear to be house-trained and have incredibly sweet, gentle personalities.

If you or someone you know is looking to add a furry friend to the family, please reach out! These boys are ready to find their forever homes, and we’re hoping to place them as soon as possible.

Let’s help these pups start the next chapter of their lives—filled with love, care, and comfort.

🚨 NEW DAYCARE POLICY 🚨
Humans Must Participate Too! 🐶👀

BREAKING NEWS: To enhance the bond between dogs and their owners, Sidekicks is now requiring all pet parents to participate in daycare activities alongside their pups! 🦴✨

🐾 What to Expect:
🛏️ - Nap time in the Suites (bring your own blanket!)
🐕 - Group play sessions (be ready to chase and wrestle!)
🍖 - Treat time (only kibble for humans, sorry!)
🏃‍♂️ - Zoomies in the yard (proper form required!)
🐺 - Mandatory howl sessions (don’t worry, the dogs promised not to judge… much.)

Drop-off starts at 7AM, and pick-up is when you’re fully trained! 😜
