Shelby has been a part of our shelter for four years and the opening of our Wellness Center. In that time, she’s become a vital part of everything we do.

Now, she’s taken her dedication one step further by earning her CVA credential, which recognizes her knowledge, hands-on experience, and commitment to animal care.

💡 What’s a CVA?

A Certified Veterinary Assistant is a professional who has completed formal training in veterinary support skills, gained supervised clinical experience, and passed a comprehensive certification exam. This means Shelby is now recognized at a state level for her veterinary knowledge and technical abilities. 🙌

We’re so proud of her hard work and continued growth—and we know our patients (and their humans!) are lucky to have her on their side.

We will be expanding our veterinary care to the community over the next several months. We have begun bringing in great products for your pets and have been working on wellness packages. Our first new service we want to share with you is LIFE SAVING. We have committed to defend puppies and defeat Parvo- a deadly virus causing vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and weakened immune system!

We now carry the Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody Injection (CPMA). Parvovirus can cost thousands of dollar to treat. With this injection, your pet receives one IV injection and gets to recover at home for about $300*.

We know... it's still pricey and other costs add up. This is why we will be introducing wellness appointments soon to make sure your pets have the opportunity to get vaccinated. Stay tuned for updates.
