💚 While they may still seem like a puppy or kitten in your eyes, it might be time to think about preventive senior care. As our pets change over the years, so do their health needs. If your pet is over 7 years old, you can help keep the good days coming by staying one step ahead of their health—and start their best years right.

To celebrate National Senior Health Awareness month, we are sharing new ways to think about their care.

Happy to the masters of mischief, nap champions, and treat connoisseurs. 😼
They ignore us, sass us, and somehow still have us wrapped around their little paws, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Give your cat an extra treat today (and share a pic in the comments — they won’t care, but we will).

As we wrap up Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week, we want to thank this amazing group of ladies!

Working in veterinary medicine is about so much more than loving animals. It means showing up on the hard days, comforting worried pet parents, celebrating the little victories, and giving our patients love and compassion even when they can't tell us what hurts.

These ladies work hard, support one another, share laughs through the chaos, and always strive to give our patients the best care possible. Every role matters, and each of them brings something special to our team!

We are so thankful for their dedication, kindness, teamwork, and genuine love for the animals entrusted to our care. Veterinary medicine isn't always easy, but having a team that cares this much makes all the difference!

To these amazing ladies: THANK YOU for everything you do! Thank you for the long days, the extra effort, the laughter, the compassion, and all the little things that often go unnoticed. We couldn't do what we do without you, and Great Rivers Animal Hospital wouldn't be the same without each of you! 🐾🧡💙

Help us show these ladies some love in the comments! ⬇️

Think you know the GRAH crew pretty well? It’s time to put that to the test!

We’ve numbered 5 sets of everyday essentials, including water bottles, keys, and phones, but can you guess which GRAH staff member each set belongs to?

Drop your guesses in the comments! Tell us who you think belongs to numbers 1-5 and let’s see who knows our team best! 👇
