Helix is another one of the boys from our litter of semi-feral puppies that got the chance to be fostered for a period of time with a shelter worker to help him see how home-life would be.

Unlike Mars he preferred to be on the lead and to walk around the yard himself as opposed to staying on the leash.
He also really appreciated the other dog in the household and would majorly benefit from having a young playmate to bond with. He also enjoyed attempting puppy play with the cat of the household.

Helix would still need an adjustment period and slow consistent TLC but has been much more outgoing and playful overall than his brother Mars. He kept his kennel very clean and did pretty well with going potty outside on a schedule!

If you think that Helix may be a puppy (1yr old now) that is meant for you just let us know and we are happy to work with you to make him most comfortable!

Who likes beagles?! Bandit here is 4 yrs old and he was originally brought in because he was exploring Jerseyville and nobody claimed him. He seems to like other dogs and he loves to run so please-he requests a fenced in yard. He was adopted and brought back due to some misunderstandings between him and his adoptee so he can be a little particular but don’t let that stop you from coming out to see him!

You all thought Koda’s eyes were something so we give you Juniper!
She was brought in to us via animal control as a scared and defensive gal but she has been nothing but a bouncing bundle of goofy energy once she came out of her shell. She absolutely loves to play but does NOT like other dogs. She plays so roughly that she would also probably do best around older kids. We have noticed that she prefers women but it hasn’t stopped our guy volunteers from getting to know her and see her silly side as well.
She came in to us in February so let’s get her out of here and into the best home she can hope for! Shes young, active, and can’t wait for a home to claim!

ADOPTED!!

This handsome boy is Koda! He’s been with us since the beginning of June and nobody has even looked twice at him!
He’s a silly guy who doesn’t mind kids or other dogs. He is 4.5 yrs old and still has some crazy puppy energy. He is very playful and would love to meet his new family. He is housebroken so come on out and meet this model of a husky!

It is kittentopia at the shelter right now and we have SO MANY looking for homes!

We have kittens ranging from 6 wks old all the way to 8 months old looking for a family and yours just might be the one 🥰

ADOPTED!!

This handsome fellow is Butch. He was originally adopted at 2 yrs old but he is now 7 yrs old and he came back to us because sadly his owner passed away and he had no one else to take care of him. He is looking for a quiet home where he can get all of the belly rubs and attention he deserves. He loves attention and is a total lap dog! He does not want to be in a home with big dogs but probably wouldn’t mind sharing a home with someone his size.
He is 21 lbs of affection and he can’t wait for you to come out and adopt him!

Miss Gaya is 3 years old and she has been with us since she was a puppy! She was brought in because she wasn’t housebroken and was too much effort to take care of. She LOVES to play and she has so much personality. She hasn’t had much interest and unfortunately with the interest she has gotten she’s been super shy and scared to meet new people—nobody has gotten to see her true colors!! Come out to say hello to this sweet girl and give her a chance to show the big heart she’s got ❤️
