We take immense pride in announcing that Mallory's Morning Mist, an esteemed senior doe now retired, has given birth to her inaugural litter, distinguished by multiple legs and a Best in Show title. Also, we are elated with Mallory's Taylor Made, a champion with multiple legs, as she delivers her first litter of 2026. Taylor with her remarkable ability to produce steel champions all from the same litter continues to astound everyone. The fact that both litters arrived during the severe thunderstorms last night is a truly impressive coincidence. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doe"s and commend them on their exceptional accomplishment.

Happy New Year! We have had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic time breeding and raising our gorgeous Mini Lop bunnies. 2025 was our most successful show year to date, with a first-place finish in the Michigan State Rabbit Breeders Sweepstakes with our Mini Lops and a second-place finish in the top 10 all breeds. With God's continued guidance and support, we are confident that 2026 will be another remarkable year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement.

We had a superb show weekend in Frankenmuth, Michigan, at the Michigan Ohio annual Christmas Show, where Mallory's Patriot, Junior Buck achieved his first Best of Breed under Judge Bryant Miller and subsequently earned a BOS under Judge Stephen Buehl. We are very pleased and optimistic about his continued success. Thank you David and Greg Moll and staff for producing such a wonderful holiday show. Merry Christmas and blessing to all!

Good morning Mini Lop enthusiasts. For those who attended the ARBA convention in Indy, it was a pleasure to see you. I hope your bunnies fared well and that you returned home with a renewed appreciation for our breed. The excitement and competition can be intense, but the networking opportunities and overall experience will ultimately aid in creating the perfect Mini Lop. If only it were as straightforward as cutting and pasting. I encourage you to review the new Standard of Perfection and remember that the Mini Lop is defined by a full and well-rounded physique over the hindquarters, extending all the way to the table. There seems to be a misconception that the Mini Lop should exhibit extreme depth, followed by a slope towards the table, resulting in a lack of roundness and fullness. BALANCE IS KEY. We breed for overall balance, which includes the head. A head that is disproportionately large can detract from the overall harmony of the body. Furthermore, a massive head and large bone structure can lead to weight issues as the Mini Lop matures. AGAIN, BALANCE IS ESSENTIAL. I hope you find this helpful. Happy Thanksgiving!

Sunrise Side rabbitry bunnies secured 7 champion legs, two BOB, and one BOS. Our junior bunnies performed exceptionally well, and we anticipate continued success as seniors. We extend our gratitude to the Blood Sweat and Tears Rabbit club and judges.
