🐾 Meet Sasha the GSD & Rosy the Vizsla! 🐾

Both are here for our 10-Day Board & Train—but for very different reasons.

Sasha heads home Monday after working through crazy leash pulling and overexcitement. 🎉

Rosy just started today! While she’s a friendly, well-socialized girl, she sometimes growls at people and dogs (and apparently goats too as we noticed today once we brought her home) , so we’ll be helping her build confidence and better responses in those situations. 💪

We love meeting up with our other trainers to work dogs, create socialization opportunities, and tackle real-world challenges together.

🐾 Say hi to Binks, the adorable 3-year-old Mini Bernedoodle! 🐾

Binks is spending time with trainer Missy and is working on becoming the best version of himself. While he’s a sweet, happy boy, he has a few behaviors his family would like to improve:

✅ Biting at arms when he gets overly excited
✅ Jumping on people when they come through the door
✅ Walking between people’s legs on the stairs
✅ Barking at people passing by the house
✅ Indoor marking, which has turned into a marking competition with the other male dog in the home

The good news? These are all behaviors that can be addressed with the right training, structure, and consistency. Binks is already hard at work learning better habits and building new skills!

🐾 Welcome Sasha! 🐾

This beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd is here for a 10-Day Board & Train with Missy! Sasha is a sweet girl who loves people, but her excitement has led to jumping, face licking, barking out the window, leash pulling, and chasing squirrels and rabbits. These behaviors have started causing problems at home, including damaged blinds and difficulty managing her on walks.

Over the next 10 days, we’ll be focusing on calm greetings, leash manners, impulse control, and better house behavior. Stay tuned to watch Sasha’s transformation! 🐕✨

Tiny but mighty 💪🐾

Dory is graduating from her 1-week board & train program today! 🎓✨ This little girl may be small, but she came in ready to work and absolutely crushed it. From learning better focus and leash skills to nailing her manners at the doorway, Dory showed that good things really do come in tiny packages!

We’re so proud of the confidence, patience, and self-control she built this week — especially practicing calm entrances and exits instead of rushing the door. Way to go, Dory! 🐶👏

These amazing pups are learning the skills, confidence, and calm behaviors needed to one day provide comfort and support to people in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and more throughout the community. 🎓🐾 Big congratulations to Lolo on graduating from our 4 Week Basic Program today!

Lolo is living proof that an “old” dog can learn new tricks. ❤️ After coming from a hoarding situation in Puerto Rico, she arrived knowing very little — but you’d never guess it by the confident, friendly girl she is today.

Despite her difficult past, Lolo has embraced her new life with her amazing mom and has settled in beautifully. Over the last 4 weeks, she’s learned:
🐕 A solid loose leash walk
📣 Improved recall
🪑 Sit
🛏️ Place

Most importantly, she’s learned how to trust, connect, and thrive. Stories like Lolo’s remind us that with patience, structure, and love, every dog deserves a chance to shine. 🌟
