🐾 SNYDER GROOMING — EXCITING CHANGES & A LITTLE HEART-TO-HEART! 🐾

Hey everyone! As we head into my busy season, I wanted to share a few exciting updates and clear up a couple of things!

🎉 FIRST, THE EXCITING NEWS!

You will start seeing some new and exciting changes coming to Snyder Grooming at the beginning of the new year! I can’t wait to share more with everyone!

And even more exciting news — WE RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW TRUCK! 🚙🎉

And don’t worry, I have NO plans to increase my prices for nail trims, grooming, or any other services anytime soon! I know times are tough, and I want to continue keeping my services affordable for everyone!

🐶 LET’S CLEAR SOMETHING UP!

I am a MOBILE IN-HOME GROOMER! This means I travel to YOU and perform all services inside YOUR home. I do NOT have a grooming van or trailer at this time.

I’ve been grooming for over five years, and I am both certified and insured! I bring my grooming equipment and supplies right to your doorstep!

🐾 NOW FOR A LITTLE HEART-TO-HEART…

It has recently been brought to my attention by a few clients that there have been some negative comments circulating in the Hastings area about me coming into people’s homes to provide grooming and nail trimming services.

I want to make something very clear. Grooming should NOT be a competition! There are plenty of animals needing care and plenty of wonderful groomers out there. We should be supporting one another instead of tearing each other down.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve heard negative things being said about myself or my business, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. However, I do feel it’s time to address it.

I’ve also heard rumors that I only groom large dogs, that I don’t like small dogs, cats, or other animals. That is absolutely NOT true! I love working with animals of all shapes and sizes! From big dogs to little dogs, cats, farm animals, and exotics, I enjoy working with them all!

If you have ever been unhappy with my services, I encourage you to reach out to me directly. I am always willing to listen, communicate, and address any concerns. What I don’t appreciate is misinformation being spread to potential clients or people trying to discourage others from using my services.

❤️ A LITTLE ABOUT MY JOURNEY…

For those who don’t know, I spent 10½ years working in housekeeping, eventually becoming a housekeeping supervisor. I started that career right out of high school while also pursuing my passion for grooming part-time for 3½ years.

Within the last year, I took a huge leap of faith and left the career I had known for over a decade to pursue Snyder Grooming full-time!

I have worked incredibly hard to build this business from the ground up. It hasn’t always been easy, but I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

One thing I do want to make clear: If the negativity and unnecessary issues continue in certain areas, I may have to reconsider offering services in those locations. I truly don’t want it to come to that, because I appreciate every single client who has welcomed me into their home.

I’m not here to compete with anyone. I’m here to do what I love, help animals, provide convenient and affordable services, and continue growing a business I’ve poured my heart into.

To everyone who has supported Snyder Grooming, booked appointments, recommended me to friends and family, left reviews, or simply shared my posts, THANK YOU! You are the reason my little business continues to grow!

🍂🎄 FALL & CHRISTMAS GROOMING BOOKINGS! 🎄🍂

Fall is right around the corner, and Christmas will be here before we know it! My grooming schedule is already starting to fill up FAST! 🐾✂️

I only have a few grooming appointments left for the fall and around the Christmas season. 🎄🐶🐱

I still have plenty of nail-trim appointments available, but full grooming appointments are becoming very limited.

📢 IMPORTANT SNYDER GROOMING REMINDER 🐾

I will not be taking any clients this Thursday after 12:00 PM as I will be preparing for my surgery Friday morning.

I will also be off for five days to recover. ❤️

If you currently have an appointment scheduled for Thursday after 12:00 PM, I will be reaching out to you personally to get your appointment rescheduled.

I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, and support while I take this time to focus on my recovery. ❤️🐾

🎉🐾 BIG NEWS FROM SNYDER’S GROOMING! 🐾🎉

We have some VERY exciting news to share! 💕✂️

Snyder’s Grooming is officially BACK to a FULL-TIME schedule! 🎉🙌

After lots of changes and adjusting schedules, I’m so excited to announce that this schedule is here to stay! 🥰 Going forward, Snyder’s Grooming will be permanently open:

🐾 Monday – Thursday: Full grooming days
🐾 Friday: Afternoon appointments available
🚫 Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED — no weekend appointments

I’m beyond excited to be able to open my schedule back up and have more availability for all of my amazing clients! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me, supported my small business, and been patient through all of the schedule changes. It truly means more than you know! 🥹💕

Hello Snyder Grooming community,

I wanted to take a moment to address everyone regarding my schedule and recent changes.

First, I sincerely apologize to those who have been affected by appointments needing to be rescheduled. Adjusting to my new work schedule has been challenging, and I know your time is valuable. I truly appreciate the patience and understanding that so many of you have shown me.

Like many families right now, my husband and I are working hard to make ends meet. I completely understand when grooming services may not fit into everyone’s budget, and I never take that personally.

What I cannot accept, however, is the harassment, bullying, and negative messages directed at me, my personal accounts, my business page, or my husband’s business. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but personal attacks and attempts to damage my business are not. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.

The support from the majority of my clients has meant the world to me, and it is because of you that I continue to do what I love. That said, the recent harassment has been extremely discouraging and has even made me question whether to continue operating Snyder Grooming.

Moving forward, I will only be accepting grooming appointments on Mondays. I will no longer be scheduling appointments on Saturdays or Sundays, as I work those days at my other job.

Additionally, I will be unavailable from mid-August through the beginning of September while I undergo a medical procedure and recover. During that time, I will not be accepting appointments.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support my small business, show patience, and treat me with respect. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Dear Clients,

As much as it pains me to make this post, Snyder Grooming LLC will be closed for the remainder of this week through Sunday.

Unfortunately, my husband and I will be saying goodbye to a very important member of our family on Saturday. She has been with us since we first started dating and has been by our side through so many chapters of our lives. Making the decision to let her go is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, and we need this time to be with her and with each other.

Because of this, I will not be taking appointments, answering phone calls, or responding to messages until Monday. If you are in need of nail trims, baths, grooming services, or any other appointments during this time, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

My goal is to resume services on Monday. However, if I find that I need a little more time to grieve and process this loss, I will personally reach out to any affected clients to reschedule.

Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and respect for our privacy during this difficult time. We truly appreciate your support.
