We are pleased to offer Training and Behavior Services to the Beaver County Community! Registration for July's classes is open!

Dogs eligible for puppy class will be under 6 months old at start of the session, have received 2 DHPP vaccines, and their first Rabies vaccine. Puppy class focuses most on puppy socialization and helping the new family learn how to raise a happy, confident dog.

Dogs eligible for basic obedience have received all appropriate vaccines as recommended by their veterinarian. Rabies vaccine is required by PA law. Obedience class is a class where each human and dog team work together to master the different cue or skill being taught in each class. Multiple teams will be present in the same room but the dogs do not interact with each other.

There are different levels of obedience class that build on the previous class’ knowledge. Basic is the first level where you and your dog are introduced to 4 new skills. Intermediate class is the second level where we learn a couple new skills and start to test our distance, duration, and distraction of the previously learned skills. Advanced obedience is more testing and proofing of the previously learned skills. Advanced class may be repeated as many times as you wish for continued training!

Is group class too much for your dog to participate in? Is there a specific difficulty with your dog that you need to address? A private lesson may be right for you and your dog!

It's They Took Me Home Thursday!

This past week, 43 of our furry friends found their "furever" homes! 38 cats, 4 dogs, and 1 rabbit were adopted! We are very happy to see lots of the animals going to their "furever" homes!
