This is sweet Barney, he lives with his mom in a senior living community, and the two of them share such a special bond. Barney is playful, incredibly affectionate, and frequently cuddling and kneading his mom to show his love.

But there was one problem…

Barney’s nails were super sharp, and his mom’s skin is very thin and fragile. Even gentle play or affection was leaving her with some pretty rough scratches and cuts. She showed us a few, and you could tell it was becoming a real safety concern.

So she gave us a call 💛 Barney needs a nail trim at home! Mom can’t drive.

We came to them, and Barney made it about as easy as it gets — happily kneading the air throughout the nail trim 🥰

Now, his mom can *safely* enjoy all the love and play with her cat. And she was so grateful, could barely put it into words.

Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. Sometimes it’s the smallest service that makes the biggest difference.
