Honestly I think they’re just picking up on the fact that every time they do something cute, I fumble for a treat to keep them sitting still while I take the picture, and then they get that treat … 😆❤️

It was a great weekend to participate in a two-day virtual learning event all about cats! This event was put on by a renowned professional in veterinary and animal behavior, who also speaks at major conferences across the country (Tabitha with Chirrups and Chatter).

This jam-packed class covered everything from feline behavior, low-stress handling, home care best practices, enrichment, socialization, and animal welfare. We also took a deep dive into the concept of “cooperative care”, in which we work *with* our pets — not against them — in providing essential medical care in a low-stress, collaborative way.

This kind of education and expertise is at the heart of what we do at Eden Pet Care, and we’re excited to implement more of what we’ve learned to better serve more pets and pet parents in our community!

Malachi offered to exhibit our safety system for dogs we walk on a harness!
Our attachment piece (pink) is between the harness and the collar in case of a malfunction with the harness or in case a dog manages to back out of a harness. Plus, an apple tag in case a dog escapes our control in some sort of accident.

Additionally, when we walk your pup using its neck collar, we include a slip-lead attachment that goes around the neck and is attached the to the leash to maintain that control should the collar fail.

This super sweet gentleman is looking for a home! I’ve had the priviledge of spending many hours caring for this boy, and I can tell you that he loves nothing more than just taking it easy in the company of a human. He is gentle, loving, and doesn’t ask for much other than a comfy spot to lay down and some loving attention. He deserves such better remaining years of life. Please share ❤️🐾
