Forever Homes Animal Rescue 501c3 - Nonprofit We have been rescuing animals in need since 2005. We officially got our nonprofit status in May 2015. Last, an adoption contract is required.

We mainly transport out of high euthanasia areas including columbus, alamogordo, El Paso, las cruces, West Texas, Clovis, Portales, Artesia, Lordsburg, Lovington, and Tularosa. We work diligently to assist with transporting dogs out of our local kill shelters to other cities and states, where they are received by No-Kill Rescues, many able to find their adoptive family in less than 2 weeks! ordo, NM simply doesn't have enough adopters who put animal welfare, and their furry friend isn't treated the way they deserve. Feel free to ask for help if you are a breed specific rescue and need help networking, transporting, or pulling one of your breed located in our area (Ill be happy to help for a couple hours in any direction)

All of our rescues require an initial adoption questionnaire before a meeting can be set up. Once this is completed, a meeting at the potential adopters home can be done with the animal to ensure a proper fit. We are a non- profit, and have received our tax -exempt status with the IRS. Which means all donations are tax deductible. Please, research before you donate if a rescue states they are non-profit, because there is a difference. nonprofit Id: 5051266

Starting with the very first “dumpster puppies” in 2015, my mom loved saving the ones that needed extra help. She loved rescuing kittens, she loved helping me save dogs from distemper and parvo, she loved so many thousands of dogs and cats that went through her home and the dog building.
Thank you for helping me celebrate my mom’s life by helping get her last fosters out, by helping get the last dogs vetted, and by helping get the transport to Colorado.

This morning, before the Sun was up, we not so quietly loaded 27 souls for their next step in their journey.
This one hits close to home because I’m sending out my mom’s last foster cats. I’m sending out the last dogs my mom helped me draw blood on. I’m sending out the last dogs I said yes to on the morning she died. Everything after this, I won’t say I’m going alone because I’m not, I have all of our volunteers and supporters, but I won’t have my mom and sometimes you just need your mom for the little things.

Thanks to you all I was able to cover their vetting and if you can help me cover their gas we’d greatly appreciate it. These kids are headed for Colorado and Wyoming and we just need 12 $25 sponsors to cover their trip. Thank you for donating and thank you for sharing!
