Meet Rowan 💙
Affectionately known as Rowdy Rowan, this young boy is the life of the party. He is a 2.5yo Catahoula leopard dog, an often unknown breed that is also the state dog of Louisiana!
Rowan is neutered and scheduled for his vaccines later this month. He is UTD on prevention and dewormed regularly.
Rowan came to me extremely underweight, just 35lbs as a full grown male. Now, he maintains 55lbs!!
Rowan is a friend to all and has never met a stranger. He would do well with older children (see reasoning in his nickname 😂), other dogs, and I haven’t had an issue with him and cats or chickens. He lives to play and has high energy!
After a good zoom around, Rowan loves to cuddle and is a pro snuggler. He also loves mealtime and howls/jumps with excitement when the food dishes come out.
Rowan’s adoption fee reflects the training program he is in, my 4 week on leash obedience program. He will come equipped with a great foundation of obedience (sit/down/place/heel), crate + potty training, and socialization with kids, livestock, other dogs, prey animals, etc.
