✨ A Happy Ending for Sweet Leah! ✨

When young Leah's family noticed something wasn't right, they acted quickly and brought her in for an exam with us. Their diligence and attention helped us identify a linear foreign body this cute troublemaker had gotten ahold of a stretchy rubber string!

Thanks to her mom's quick action and the care team at PriorityPet Urgent Care, Leah received the care she needed right away. Today, this adorable young girl has a lot of life left to live and is resting peacefully at home, surrounded by the family who helped save her life.

Cases like Leah's are an important reminder that when it comes to foreign body ingestion, early intervention can make all the difference. If you notice vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, abdominal discomfort, or suspect your pet may have eaten something they shouldn't have, don't wait to seek veterinary attention.

We're so grateful Leah's story has such a positive outcome, and we're honored to have been part of her care! She even got a name change along the way. 💗

📞 If you're worried your pet may have eaten something they shouldn't, call PriorityPet Urgent Care right away. Our team is here to help when your pet needs us most.

**Ma*****na Toxicity in Pets: What You Need to Know**

With increased access to ma*****na products, we are seeing more cases of accidental ingestion in pets, especially dogs.

**How does it happen?**
Pets may ingest edibles (like brownies or gummies), dried plant material, or even v**e cartridges. Many of these products contain higher concentrations of THC than ever before.

**What should you do?**
If you suspect your pet has ingested ma*****na, seek veterinary care right away. Symptoms can last 24–72 hours depending on the amount ingested.

**Important Reminder:**
Please be honest with your veterinary team about possible exposure. Our goal is to treat your pet quickly and effectively, not to judge.

**Prevention Tips:**
• Store all products securely and out of reach
• Be mindful of dropped items or accessible bags
• Avoid exposing pets to secondhand smoke

Your pet’s safety is our priority. If you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’re here to help when you need us most. ❤️
