It’s raining cats and dogs!! Literally and figuratively 😂 We hope everyone stayed safe during yesterday’s crazy storm!

You have a chance to meet all our adorable and adoptable puppies at Kriser’s Highland Park GRAND OPENING event this coming weekend!

LSR will be there with our coffee pups and some new faces - husky/cattle dog mixes. All our pups are 3-4 months old and they’re ready for their next adventure!

When: August 23, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm

🚨Urgent Fosters Needed🚨

We would love to help these pups find their forever homes but we can't do that without you! We rely on foster homes but all of our current large-breed foster homes are full 😔 These are just some of the pups we'd love to help.

If you can't foster but would still like to help, donations and volunteers are always appreciated ❤️

Fostering is free! We provide all the basic supplies and support you need, and you get all the puppy love. Fosters are asked to transport the dog to vet appointments, adoption shows, or any additional events if your schedule allows.
📍 Fosters must be located in Illinois, transport from shelter can be arranged.

Couldn’t make it to Smoke and Irons Festival yesterday? No worries, we’re back for DAY 2! 🤗

Come on out to Apple Orchard Park in Bartlett to meet some adorable puppies, grab a beer, and listen to some great music! 🎶

Last Stop will be there from 11 AM to 3 PM! Happy hour and free admission from 11-2 PM! You don’t want to miss this fun filled, family friendly event! 🥳

Introducing Bubbles! 🫧
Our newest LSR member! She’s a momma of 5 pups (will be up for adoption in a month), sweet as pie, and loves a good cuddle sesh!

Bubbles is approx 1-1.5 years old, came all the way up from the southern border of Texas, and we aren’t certain what her breed is but we know she’s 100% cutie patootie!

Bubbles has a lot of love to give and we are looking for someone/a family that LOVES to play fetch, enjoys going on adventures, and preferably has another active dog companion for her! Bubbles does great with kids as she has a gentle demeanor about herself. She is housebroken and crate trained as well!

Bubbles did a great job caring for her little ones, now it’s time for Bubbles to get spoiled and pampered! Some well deserved me time 💅💁‍♀️

Last Stop Rescue will be at Yorktown Center in Lombard from 12-3 PM today (Sat, 7/19)!! Please stop by to meet all the various rescue dogs up for adoption. Adopting helps save lives - not just the life of the dog you adopt, but it opens up more space for another dog to get saved! ❤️❤️

We’ll have a few new and old faces at today’s event. We hope you can stop by! 😊
