We are a 501(c)3 shelter (non-profit), we help animals in need in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. We strive to give all of our animals a comfortable environment to live in during their time with us.

Meet Jovee! 🐶💗

This sweet 2-year-old collie mix is as adorable and gentle as they come! She got to go on a little jog date and did amazing.. she ran about a mile before deciding it was time to slow down and sniff the leaves 😆🍂 She’s curious, joyful, and SO excited about the world around her. Jovee is also spayed and up to date on vaccines.

✨ A few of her favorite things:
🐾 Going for jogs and exploring new scents
🚗 Loading up in the car all by herself and enjoying the ride
🐕 Saying hi to other dogs and making new friends
😄 Enjoying attention, pets, and all the love from her people
🌳 Taking in the outdoors and soaking up the sunshine

Jovee would make a wonderful addition to any home! She does great with other dogs and even does well with kitties outside of PAWS. She’s a happy, lovable girl ready to find her forever family. Come meet Jovee at PAWS N Ada and see if she’s the sweet companion your home has been missing! 💕🐾

Foster Spotlight: Lady & Tramp🍝

These two senior beagle sweethearts have been patiently waiting for their happily ever after, and we can’t believe they still haven’t had a single application. Lady is an 8 year old gentle, soulful girl. Tramp is her 7 year old loyal buddy. Both are as sweet as they come and have that classic beagle charm.. soft eyes, wagging tails, and the perfect mix of calm and playful.💛

🏠 Crate trained
🍖 Food motivated
🧠 Know basic commands & currently learning “touch”

Lady loves everyone she meets, and Tramp just needs a little time to warm up to new dogs. He does wonderfully with calm or older pups and just needs slower introductions with younger, high-energy dogs.. once he settles in, he’s totally fine. Both absolutely adore their crate, treat it as a safe and cozy space, and have wonderful house manners.

Lady & Tramp have so much love to give and are more than ready for a family to call their own. If you’re looking for a pair of loving, well-mannered companions… this beagle duo is your perfect match.

From goofy grins to joyful zoomies, these sweethearts remind us every day why we do what we do. Whether they’re wrestling with their besties, trotting over for attention, soaking up a hug from a volunteer, or just looking at you with those big “take me home” eyes… they’re all waiting for their chance at a forever family.🫶🏻

Every single one of our pups have so much love to give. All they need is someone to choose them.🤍

November was an incredible month at PAWS, filled with new beginnings and happy endings for so many of our animals. We celebrated 23 dog adoptions and 32 cat adoptions, each one marking a fresh start and a family made whole. On top of that, 9 animals were transferred to our wonderful rescue partners, giving them the chance they needed to find the right placement and continue their journey toward a forever home.

In total, 64 lives were impacted this month, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Every adoption, every rescue transfer, and every small victory is possible because of our devoted adopters, fosters, volunteers, and supporters. Thank you for helping us make November such a heartwarming month for the animals who rely on us. 🐾💛

(Also, our phones were down today. We are hoping to have them back and working tomorrow!!)

Happy Monday from our Violet girl!💜

This 7 month old brindle beauty is as sweet as her name! Violet came to us a little timid, but once she warms up (which doesn’t take long!), she’s all tail wags, gentle eyes, and cuddles.🥹

Frank G. is a 1-year-old Pit/Great Dane mix bursting with personality and sweetness. This handsome guy just celebrated his birthday with a park walk, a mini photo shoot, and even a special Tractor Supply trip where he picked out his very own toy. He’s living his best life, now he just needs a family to share it with. 💛
